    • Simple but useful media tower
While the construction of this media cabinet is not exceptional, it does end up being an effective storage solution. The tower is built out of the usual cheap pressed wood pulp, though it should have no trouble holding up to your media collection. The assembly is easy and only required about five minutes. The pieces are labeled and the instructions are clear, but the tower can be assembled without even opening them. The tower is held together by a combination of wooden dowels and screws. I was initially worried about stability, but was thankfully proven wrong. After all of the parts are together, the tower's wide base makes it stable even on carpet. After installing the screws, there are no plastic caps or stickers to hide the screw holes. The screws finish is black making it harder to spot the holes, but they are noticeable if that bothers you. The tower is fairly small once assembled and seems much larger in the picture. It only stands about waist high (I am 6ft tall) but manages to hold quite a bit of media. If you use the tower for DVDs or Blu-Rays, you will have a couple of extra shelves left over. You can only use all of the included shelves if you use part of it for CD storage. The shelves are installed by placing them on four metal dowels that are inserted in pre-drilled holes on the tower's uprights. The shelves are routed allowing the shelf to be more secure since it slides onto these dowels instead of just floating on them. Given how cheaply made this tower is, it is a nice addition that should ensure your shelves do not slide out of the tower (a great benefit given that my sub woofer sits directly beside it.) If you are looking at a cheap storage solution, this cabinet should do well so long as you don't expect premium construction out of a $30 product. The lack of screw hole coverings seems a bit cheap, but can easily be rectified on your own. While this cabinet will not be your most prized piece of furniture, it does to an admirable job of holding a lot a media for very little money. ... show more

    • Good Price, Sturdy Enough, Quality Control May Vary
Product arrived timely and double boxed, no shipping damage or missing pieces. Assembly instructions are basic (easy to follow) but like some of the other reviewers the wooden allignment pegs for the main shelves did not line up correctly with the side panels. Ended up getting it together with some careful alignment and slowly putting in the screws as to not damage the shelves which overal didn't take too long. Once assembled shelf holds sturdy and blends in nicely with my other similar shelving. Good for storing Blu-rays, Games, and other small light collectibles as advertised. ... show more

    • Perfectly cheap and functional but cannot worth more than 20 bucks
I ordered two of these for 20 dollars each. After seeing the reviews, I wasn't sure what I was going to get, but figured for $40, it was worth giving it a try. They turned out to be quite satisfactory -- easy to put together, the capacity much larger than I assumed, and best of all, it is difficult to topple them over, which is important for families with small kids. I know there are quite a few reviews complaining about the build quality, but that's what makes them perfect. Sure, when you assemble them, the screws would make the boards creak, but they still hold well together. Even if you spent twice or even triple the price, you are still not getting mahogany, but only similar cheaply made stuff, so may as well get something functional at the cheapest price. UPDATE: I gave a 5-star review over a year ago when they cost about 20 bucks each. I have since collected more discs than can fit on two of these, so I purchased a 3rd one for almost twice the cost (and it was supposed to be a prime day deal). It is definitely overpriced, and the quality has in fact gone down. Two of the screw holes are stripped out of the box so I could not tighten the screws. I will need to fix them using toothpicks and wood glue. Also the pegs holes in side walls and the grooves in shelves can be misaligned, so one of the shelves doesn't sit flat. I am changing my rating to a 3-star (which is still quite generous). I don't recommend this item anymore. ... show more

this is a really nice, compact shelf. you can arrange the shelves bc it has different levels. the wood is nice and i like the arched style on the bottom and top. something to note though is the middle shelf can’t be moved and has to screwed into that specific spot in the middle.

    • Easy to assemble
This was simple to assemble. I like that the backmpiece slides into a gap, instead of having to nail it on like others I've had. The instructions weren't perfect, yet it was easy enough to figure out. I like the size and will use it for DVDs. I would buy this again.

I dont think its worth the price because its way smaller than the other Atlantic shelf i ordered It definitely went together fast but i could barely fit any dvds on the shelves...worst part is the shelves lean forward so now i need to buy feet from lowes
