No flickering. 240hz, displayport 2.1 (uncompressed), Dolby Vision, KVM switch, and 1/4" tripod/screw for camera mounting makes this monitor a beast. You can hook a Xbox and Two PCs and switch between them with one mouse and keyboard flawlessly (and switch between speakers automatically too, if you use the monitor's 3.5mm jack). The only downside of this monitor is that it uses a Triangular QD-OLED subpixel layout since it's newer technology (versus traditional RGB stripe like some cheaper 4K monitors and IPS monitors), so fonts in Windows don't appear as clear in as they would on other 4K monitors (like the Strix XG27UCS). However, this is only for windows fonts and not game fonts, so text in games will still be crisp. It's a very small downside (and one you may not even notice if I didn't say this) but some people care about this. The other downside is that it doesn't have built-in speakers, which actually matters a lot to me. For $5 they could've added a single mono speaker and they would've been enough for me (I like having it as a backup or in cases where i don't want to lug speakers around, or in case I ever want to mount it in a wall -- who wants to attach separate speakers for a wall-mounted display?? Nobody, and all cheaper models of Asus monitors even have speakers). If you want the best monitor for the money, though, go with with bad boy. The extra money is well spent. I had the Strix XG27UCS before this, so I already had 4K, but this is a huge upgrade other than the font thing. I wish they also made the ports on the side instead of pointing down, but you can fix this problem with some shirt extension cables I guess, maybe (idk if they make DSP80 extensions that don't hinder anything, but I'll look). I'm also having a problem with windows not being able to turn HDR on (even in games), but I'm 99% sure it's some software error I'm having, since it was working before and only stopped working after windows detected this monitor as two monitors, but I wanted to note this anyway. It's a great monitor though. Only thing I don't care for is the light on the bottom (would've rather had speakers than that light). The lights on the back are pretty neat, but again, I'd rather have speakers or smoother fonts. Biggest thing by far is the built in KVM switch. I've used KVM switches before but I never had one built into the monitor like this -- wicked cool and useful. The menu isn't very intuitive, but you'll figure it out. Most menus are worse. Just don't get annoyed and break the button or something, before you learn it.

Very amazing quality of life change after swapping to HDR and calibrating the Dolby Vision it looks stunning and super sharp, bright enough for everyday use and very versatile. A bit expensive for it but if you catch it on sale it is worth the upgrade. Recommend it for high end GPU cards to fully take advantage of every frame.

It's a 4K QD-OLED 240 Hz, glossy coat. 27 inches, what I supposed to say? This is heaven of a display, even more coming from a TN 1440p 144hz display, that used to be my main monitor. Don't get me wrong the ACER XG27OHU is a good monitor and it served me well all these years, even it was one of the first g-sync compatible monitors out there. But yeah, the PG27UCDM overcomes it almost in every aspect, and the only one I could remark is the risk of burn in and extra care you must do with it. Regardless of that and with the pack of OLED CARE features Asus added to this, I can say even if burning is objectively inevitable and eventually, you will suffer of it. Nowadays, these panels can last years until you clearly see details of burning. Time will tell of course, but I am confident, with enough care this one can last me years. The other thing I could remark is, it's 4k 240 hz, you will need a beefed system to really take advantage of it at 100% because, boy, it makes sweat my 3080 Ti quite hard. haha, time to another upgrade I guess. I strongly recommend to watch any of the many reviews of this unit on YouTube, it will give you a better idea of the whole device. IMO and a summary, PPI on this makes the image hyper sharp, Inky blacks gives it an outstanding contrast that helps to shine every color even more, specially red tones. Maybe even there are higher refresh rates nowadays, 240 hz still hold up quite well and it's smooth as you can imagine. As I mention it is packed with a bunch of ASUS OLED CARE features to help to reduce the risk of Burn in. Gaming on this is a delight to the eyes, the size for me is perfect but I can see that a 32 inches could be the sweet spot for 4k, but I am happy with the 27".

After hours of research and looking at reviews and product sites, I decided to settle on this monitor. My criteria included an OLED monitor that was 4k, a decently high refresh rate (at least 120hz), and has a great color gamut for photo editing and media viewing. This monitor took the cake for all of those aspects. I wasn't too sure about the size of the monitor, but it's actually pretty nice to have a larger screen that's 4k to have those small details. It's quite expensive, but if you're willing to fork out the money, I'd say this is the best monitor you can buy for that money. It's quality feels great, it took a little time for me to look through the settings to decide how I wanted it set up, but once you get that dialed in, it's great! Just make sure you have the pixel shift on and the proximity sensor is actually pretty nice for when you're away—it works as intended. One more thing, if you're worried at all about the brightness of the monitor, DONT BE! I also had that concern when I was looking around, and when I finally received it, I was actually stunned. I am literally running them at 20% brightness in my decently-lit room because I feel like I have the sun in front of me otherwise. Side note: I used RTings.com to help in my research, and this turned out to be their top monitor, and I can definitely see why!

I really wanted to love this monitor because, when it works, the image quality is incredible. The OLED panel is beautiful, the colors are vibrant, and the motion clarity is exactly what you’d expect from a premium gaming monitor. Unfortunately, reliability was a complete dealbreaker. After only a couple of hours of use, the monitor became stuck in an endless boot loop. It would continuously display the ROG startup logo, restart, and repeat the process until it became completely unusable. I’ve attached a video showing the issue. I tried power cycling, disconnecting all cables except power, testing different outlets, and other basic troubleshooting steps, but the problem persisted. At this price point, I expected much better reliability. It’s disappointing because the display itself is fantastic, but none of that matters if the monitor can’t be depended on to function properly. After this experience, I’ll be looking at other brands for my next monitor. Hopefully ASUS addresses this issue with a future firmware update or hardware revision, but unfortunately I can’t recommend this monitor.

This thign is insanely beautiful. Never had a monitor like this before, the OLED is mind-blowing. 4k at 27 inches has insane text clarity too, perfect monitor for programming. Can use it for hours without any eye fatigue
