This phone is amazing 10/10 I was first concerned about receiving an asian version, but shout out to Mobile Advance, they really are authorized Asus sellers, i also received the cooling device even though this is the 512gb version. This is the best phone I ever had, the battery is amazing and very durable, I just charge it once a day, and I play in my free time and ended up with a 34% by the end of the day, and the fast charge is incedible. And lastly about the connectivity one thing you should all know because I also saw people having trouble with the mobile network, and this is because all carriers or phone companies program their sim cards for certain phones, and most of these companies don't know about Asus phones, in order to fix this you just need to add the APN credentials manually you can even add it yourself by calling your carrier and ask for the APN credentials and this is solved. ... show more

    • Am I stupid or does this phone just not turn on?
I was very excited about the idea of the phone itself - how it feels in hand, how I can plug my head from in instead of having to buy Bluetooth headphones, How I can actually use T-mobile 5g bands, etc. Well first, it's CN model, not US. Second, I have tried to buy this phone twice, both of which it cannot be turned on and charging does not do anything. I'm hesitating between saying I'm too stupid to figure out how to even turn on a phone or I'm too unlucky to receive just one phone in good condition. ... show more

10/10 exotic phone. made by a reputable gaming brand, Asus, YouTube reviews to see if it's for you and if it is it is literally the perfect phone for anyone. I would be more than happy to carry this thing to my grave if it let me. You can't compare this to its older ones like the seven and lower because the eight and nine are both way more mainstream the cameras way better everything is phenomenal it's no longer just focused on gaming but it's performance is still in its own class. The phone is pretty nice, the gaming performance that you come to expect from the ROG phones with some nice improvements. The headphone jack is always appreciated, along with the ultrasonic triggers. Great battery paired with fast charging. I'm not a fan of the hole punch camera, but I can live with it. For the price of this phone I feel like the Aeroactive Cooler X should come with, I know it does in the "Pro Edition" but this is still 1.2 thousand USD. The main reason this is 2 stars and not 4-5 is because of the seller, Mobile Advance. The phone went on sale from $1200 down to $1080 just after I had purchased it. Even after calling their number twice and emailing them once, I have not received any kind of support, no acknowledgement whatsoever. Avoid Mobile Advance if you want good customer service. - Update - Mobile Advance refunded the sale price to me today. I'm updating the score due to this. They took two days to respond to my first email and three days after that for them to refund me. I'm grateful that they did refund, but I will say that they're still pretty slow on the communication front. ... show more

Thought my charging port on my 5pro was dying turns out it was the charger.... Really happy with the 8 though, the data transfer app was awesome I still had to reinter my passwords. the Microsoft authenticator app was a bit of a pain but I kept everything on my old phone so it still went pretty good. Highly recommend this phone for not just gamers but for professionals that need processing power while they are mobile and do not have access to a laptop. ... show more

Everything that was supposed to be in the box was there, phone, charger adapter for wall, Type-C cord, instruction booklet. NOT the AeroActive Cooler X. That item only comes with the Pro Edition, not the Pro. The Pro edition is the 1TB 24GB RAM version. All other things were NEW and as advertised and boxed by ASUS. The phone was amazing until the latest Android update which broke compatibility with T-Mobile for me. Asus customer service refuses to help me because the model is an Asian one according to the serial number and would have to be serviced in Asia. T-Mobile has been trying everything on their end to help but ASUS customer support has been awful. ... show more
