  • Excellent 6K monitor for Mac work, coding, and productivity
Style: 31.5-inch 6K (6016 x 3384) LuxPixel AGLR...
This has been an excellent monitor for my home office and one of the best value 6K displays I have used. My setup is focused on work, coding, and productivity, not gaming, so 60Hz is completely fine for me. What matters most is sharp text, Retina-like clarity, and color quality, and this monitor delivers. The text sharpness is outstanding. For coding, reading, terminal work, and general productivity, everything looks incredibly crisp and clean. Retina quality was my top priority, and this monitor absolutely feels worth it for that alone. I use it with two MacBooks (M3 Pro for work and M4 Pro personal) at the same time. The built-in KVM works surprisingly well for this kind of setup. It is not perfect, but it works well enough that I returned a separate external KVM and just used the monitor directly. PBP also works well when needed. Another big plus is color. The M Model-P3 profile matches very nicely with my MacBook display, which helps the whole setup feel consistent when moving between the laptop screen and the monitor. The only downside is that input switching and wake-up are a little slow. It is not instant, but it is manageable and easy enough to live with once the setup is dialed in. The built-in speakers are also weak, but that was not a big issue for me since I already use external speakers. If you want a sharp 6K display for a Mac-based home office without paying Apple Studio Display money, this is a very strong choice. I highly recommend it. ... show more

  • Great monitor for my Mac Studio
Style: 31.5-inch 6K (6016 x 3384) LuxPixel AGLR...
I bought the 27 inch version of this monitor last year and absolutely love it. But I prefer 32 inch monitors so was happy when this version was announced. Amazon recently had it on sale with next day delivery so I bought one. Easy to assemble, connected effortlessly with my Mac Studio, and fantastic video resolution. I appreciate the connectivity options and that Asus included both HDMI and USB cables with the system. Overall I am very happy with this monitor. I don’t game on this system so the 60 hertz refresh rate is fine. Yes, a Thunderbolt 5 port would have been good for future proofing, but the provided Thunderbolt 4 port works fine. ... show more

  • Great monitor right out of the box
Style: 31.5-inch 6K (6016 x 3384) LuxPixel AGLR...
I'm really enjoying this monitor with my new Mac Studio. I could not afford the Studio monitors from Apple but wanted a 32" high res option at a "reasonable" price. The Asus ProArt fits the bill perfectly. At $1200 it's an affordable 6k option. To be fair, it's not as bright as the 27" iMac the Studio replaced but with the Thunderbolt 4 connection it works well. Working with Lightroom and Final Cut Pro it's great. I'd highly recommend as an affordable option if you want a large screen with high resolution. ... show more

  • Arrived D,O.A.
Style: 31.5-inch 6K (6016 x 3384) LuxPixel AGLR...
Wish I could review this product, but the unit I received was dead on arrival. The monitor simply would not power up. Further the box it comes in, requires that you destroy it to some degree. This makes returning it difficult. However with enough duct tape anything is possible. So i was able to return it without ever seeing so much as the control panel. I can say the stand is quite substantial. The power switch is not located very conveniently, right next to the power cord socket on the back. My guess is that the internal power supply is designed for a non-US region. Quite a disapointment. ... show more

  • Display output issues on M1/M2 MacBooks
Style: 31.5-inch 6K (6016 x 3384) LuxPixel AGLR...
Used M1 & M2 MacBooks with this for a few days. I’ll start by saying the picture quality, color accuracy, and screen resolution are all great. The amount of ports, thunderbolt charging/display output with one port was awesome. For the first two days I had no issues. Third day, it would not connect via thunderbolt. It’d still charge my computer, but no display output. I tried a few different cables, all the usb-c ports, power cycling on all of the machines, etc. Eventually, display output worked after around 5-10 power cycles on the monitor (tried it a few times). It’s a great looking monitor and a heck of a lot cheaper than Apple’s displays, but the display output issue ruined the monitor for me. I’m not going to spend $1100 in a used monitor that only works after multiple power cycles. It’s a no for me dawg. Note: I know there was probably a firmware issue, but it seems like Asus has been doing a lot of mitigation every time a new Mac OS comes out. Additionally, there’s reports that the monitor can free inputs on your computer if it’s below 50% battery. Not trying to deal with all that. ... show more

  • Works well with M4 Macs, and is fantastic for Illustration and Print color proofing.
Style: 31.5-inch 6K (6016 x 3384) LuxPixel AGLR...
This is a fantastic monitor... but it is HUGE! The companion app is awesome. It's SO bright! I had to lower the brightness, but it's easy to manage. The color is perfect. I am a graphic designer, illustrator and board game designer. I run an M4 Max PRO MacBook Pro with 2 monitors attached. This and a 24 Wacom Cintiq. Combined they are a powerhouse for illustration or complex system development. I cannot recommend this monitor enough! It's a good deal for the price. Honestly, I was considering the Apple equivalent and its 4 times the price. There are 2 failings on this monitor for me. 1: it should have a built in webcam. I suspect they don't include it because its a nice small bevel on the monitor, and or most people working at this level will have a pro-level webcam. 2: there are no speakers. Obviously not a dealbreaker, but it would have been a really nice to have feature. The ASUS ProArt 32" 6K Professional Monitor is a 4.75 stars out of 5 for me. ... show more

  • It's THE MAC monitor standard
Style: 31.5-inch 6K (6016 x 3384) LuxPixel AGLR...
Finally, a monitor that works right out of the box natively with Mac. Colors are spot on and the controls are easy. And it's the ideal size. Love it.

  • But better/inexpensive option to Apple display.
Style: 31.5-inch 6K (6016 x 3384) LuxPixel AGLR...
Bought this on March 19th of 2026. So far so good. I see few problems but nothing that affects my work. Asus says it's factory calibrated but still it's good idea to re-calibrate it. Bought this for my M4 MAX Studio to edit my film. Can't say much but will update this review after 6 months.
