My OLED tv had a problem with its panel. I made a claim, they assigned a local repair man, he diagnosed the panel as the problem and recommended a buy out from Asurion. They gave me my money back in Amazon credit later that day. Won't go without Asurion for large purchases in the future if possible.

I purchased an Assurion warranty for my Sony tv due to previous experience with LCD televisions. Turns out it was a great thought. The audio failed. Assurion arranged the repair which turned out to be too much and promptly issued a refund for the full amount of purchase.

    • THIS INSURANCE IS CRAP!!! DONT BUY!!! THEY WONT PAY!!!! CLAIMS TAKE MONTHS!! They won't fix either!
I bought this insurance on my tv thinking it was going to cover my tv for storm damage and or power outage damage. This is what happened to my tv to cause it to go bad, then this company hires a tv repair guy to go out and figure out how not to pay or fix your tv. You're better off taking this money and putting it towards your next tv. Plus, a claim with the company takes up to a month, would you want to be without your tv for up to a month. I am pretty sure this company pays the repair guys extra to make sure the claims get denied. Total Rip OFF! Think about Everyone you know that sells insurance. They all are rich, and you are poor for a reason. They never want to Pay! TV repair guys they hire are a joke! Worst experience I ever had! Here I sit with a $1600 Samsung 86 inch smart piece of crap with 4 years of Asurion insurance that won't even power on. Total BS!!!!!!!!!! ... show more

Great Protection Plan worth buying. Will continue to buy ASURION Plans! Three years ago my TV would just go black and then come back on. ASURION was called, a reliable tech came and repaired it very quickly. After 3 years, the same TV turned on and showed a purple picture. ASURION again to the rescue. The tech replaced boards without success and ASURION deemed it unrepairable and actually gave us a FULL REFUND on the TV. NO SCAMS, JUST HONEST plan worth buying. This is a time when our ecomony is causing our funds to not go far, so this refund is very much appreciated. ... show more
