    • Unable to get a copy of the service agreement.
I was unable to get a copy of the service agreement terms and conditions from there website. Tried several times and even after chatting with one of their agents twice I was not able to download the agreement. They said they would email a copy of the agreement in 1 to 2 business days. Hard to believe in this day and age of modern technology downloading a simple document is a challenge too big for Assurant. All this makes me not so sure (or confident) about Assurant. ... show more

    • Quickly handled claim
I bought a compact dryer and it stopped drying clothes as fast as usual. Then, after a few months the drum inside wouldn’t turn. I called the Assurant Helpdesk because their website was not working. They took care of my claim quickly and sent my gift card vis email while I was still on the phone. Definitely recommend. ... show more

    • Not Bad for a low cost insurance
Assurant Insurance was good thing to have. Bad thing is taxes/shipping and cost of Insurance is not covered. So my 83 year old mother is out of $35.39, but without insurance she could of been out of $245.28, so $16.00 dollars is not bad for covered insurance, plus spoilage of food was covered. Now we are in search for another Chest Freezer and again we will buy the insurance. As for the product we bought (CHEST FREEZER) it should of lasted longer than 20 months. ... show more

I had a portable ice maker that stopped working after 2 1/2 years and it took about 15 minutes to make the claim and get a refund for what I paid. I bought a different ice maker and have been happy with it. fast and easy!
