Overall this violin is decent for a beginner, but the price point is a little high. I understand that a 4/4 violin isn't cheap but considering the price of a 3/4 it still seems a little high. As for the quality of the violin, it has a decent tone, and the construction isn't bad for this price point. I did appreciate that it came stringed, and that it only needed the bridge put on, but I wish they had included some form of instructions. It is a good violin for beginners; other options are available, but if you want this one, you must replace the strings and the tools since they are low-grade. The included strings are not durable; tuning was complex without any information contained in the kid. The tuner is small, and you would love a better model with a larger screen and more accurate measuring. There are extra strings available in this kit. I like that it has a good case and can hold all its accessories. I am not a pro; I have heard better violin sounds than this. I plan to buy better strings to see if the sound improves. Overall, it is suitable for the journey of playing the violin. Once you realize your passion investing in a better violin is recommended. ... show more
