These are great shoes. They are light and flexible and the fit is perfect. I have a wide ball of the foot and toes. My arches are very high and I have a relatively narrow heel. I got 7.5 wide and they fit perfectly. The insole is nicely padded, but there is little rise at the arch. But the overall fit is so good that they are very comfortable for me.     • Hooked on Asics shoes. Others I have tried don't compare. Comfortable, supportive, and last.
Going back a number of years ago, I wore only white running shoes (called gym shoes at the time). Christmas of 2016 my husband surprised me with a pair of Asics shoes in primarily coral. My first reaction was "Not white! Oh My God, they have to be returned.", but I tried them on so I didn't hurt my husband's feelings, and they were so comfortable. I am retired now, but when I worked at a job, I always matched my shoes and purse to my outfit. I discovered these shoes matched some of my t-shirts. The next day, I ordered a pair of Asics shoes in primarily red. Since Christmas of 2016, I have never worn white shoes again. Now I match my t-shirts to my shoes and even match my socks to my shoes. Incidentally, I still wear the original shoes from 2016, 8 years ago. They are starting to look worn, but they are still comfortable, and I still wear them. I have since bought Asics shoes in a number of different colors to match my t-shirts. I bought this pair in black/soft berry to replace a pair I bought in 2017 that are black/purple. The darker berry color is very similar to the purple in my old shoes. I still wear the older shoes, but wanted something that didn't look worn when I go out. I also bought the blue expanse/light sapphire shoes in this style, which I also love. As we all know, blue can be in different shades and have different tints. So, it can be difficult to match blue shoes to an outfit. Most of these shoes are a dark, true blue, and the accents are light blue and royal blue. So, these shoes would go with most shades of blue. These are now my favorite blue Asics shoes. The colors pictures on the Amazon page are exactly the colors of the shoes you get. As always, both of these Asics shoes are comfortable and fit perfectly in my normal size. The tops of these shoes don't look so much like mesh, which I like. I have tried other brands, but they have never been as comfortable and supportive as the Asics shoes, nor do they last as long. I wear this style and others in the Asics shoes all day, gardening outdoors, cooking in my kitchen that has a hard ceramic floor, and working on my basement garden on a concrete floor. My feet never feel sore or tired at the end of the day. I also like that these shoes "breath". Whether I am wearing wool blend socks in the winter or thinner socks in the summer, my feet are always comfortable. Personally, I would not waste my money on any other brand, nor would I subject my feet to uncomfortable shoes. I do recommend these shoes without hesitation.     • Love these shoes!
I have had these Asics for well over a year now and I think they have held up better than any Nike or Adidas shoes I've owned. Super comfortable whether using them as walking shoes or just into the office. I love the colors! They are also true to size!

    • Attractive with vibrant colors
I was a bit hesitant buying these shoes since I thought they might be too bulky looking. Far from it! Bought the size 8 medium which is a half size smaller than my shoe size and it fit perfectly. The half size larger would have been too big for my narrow heels. It’s comfortable across the toe area but I may have to bump them up with heel pads as they loosen up. I also like that the soles give a firm grip and this was a big plus for me. They’re very attractive but the one thing I’m not happy about is the puny laces (just as many commented in their reviews) thus my rating of 4.5 rather than a 5 star. Why make such an A quality shoe and mess it up with cheap laces! Every time I put them on I’m afraid the laces will snap! Other than that I do think it’s a good buy. ... show more

I ordered these ASICS shoes in navy blue and was so happy with them, I immediately ordered a second pair in black. They are very attractive for running shoes, and very comfortable, with good cushioning and support and a roomy toe box. They were true to size. These were lighter and less stiff than another brand I ordered. I don’t run, but I walk 1-2 miles several days a week, and the tread has lasted well. I would definitely order these again; in fact, I will look to see what other colors are available now! ... show more

    • Not a perfect 7.5 on the fence if I would buy again

I love the design, but I am not too happy with the fit. I've always been a 7.5 on tennis, at least on Keen, Bogs and Tevas and all other shoe types, but this was not the case for this Asics. Although, I admit I am an 8 in Reebok and Nike slender toebox tennis. This are too tight on the toes overall including the big toe, like if they would be a half size smaller than what I need. I have slender feet yet 4 long toes and 1 tiny one, so I didn't think I needed the wide version. I am not sure if the Wide would have been best for me, or an 8 given the shoe feels tight all over. That's the thing with buying shoes online. Returning the item is not a possibility for me unfortunately. I hope they stretch some with time through wear and water. Also, these are really flat on the back heel, they are cushy inside all over, the sole is well made, but they lack the flexibility and breathability of Keen's or Tevas. They are quite warm inside and that is something I don't usually notice on tennis. Maybe I would go for an 8 next time, and ad a heel insert to see if that works for me. The stitching and material is of high quality and they look nice. They look kind of bulky yet they are narrow inside due to the cushioning. The sole is anti slip and well made. I would love them if the 7.5 was slightly larger without having to be a Wide Version, if there was more heel support, a tad more flexibility in the step, and more breathability. Materials are high quality as well as the look and cushioning inside (except for lack of heel support). UPDATE: I also bought a 7.5 wide and they fit just right with thin socks. But my mom that wears 7.5 but does have wide chunky feet, found them too small and narrow to wear. The Keens and Tevas in 7.5 do fit her perfectly. With use the 2 Asics I purchased stretched some in about 2 weeks and became more flexible on the step. Still this one that was not a 7.5 wide is too tight for me and not comfortable to wear for long hours. I'll try my luck with Skechers ... ... show more
