I was looking for an inexpensive shoe to do intervals on the track. This shoe fit that task and then some. I realized after first trying this shoe on that it's also a very comfortable shoe for daily training too. It's not the most cushioned shoe, so you'll probably not want to go past 10 miles (15K) in this model, but at that distance and below it shines. Bought these as a training shoe. Feels extremely comfortable. Great for the feet as I run on both asphalt and concrete. Only thing that I forgot was how much of size difference ASICS was. Needed to go a 1/2 size down.

I'm like the princess and the pea when it comes to shoes. I spend roughly 50-hours/week, mostly 16-hour shifts, on my feet, and I've broken both of them in the past. Believe me when I tell you that I feel every bump, wrinkle, achilles pad error, toe box shortcoming, etc. Many shoes claim to be the "next best", but I've spent thousands on duds. Here's why I think the dynablast 2s are the best neutral shoe I've come across in a while: 1) The gift that keeps on giving. The shoe offers cushion and support that facilitates decreased leg fatigue and pain while walking and standing during long,16-hour shifts. 2) They're true-to-size, and they offer plenty of room for feet "to be feet". 4) The best overall comfort. The breathable material is soft, stretchy, and light. There's also no annoying material hugging or digging into your achilles tendon. 5) No double knots, tripping over laces, or strangling your feet to find more string. These laces are soft, stretchy, and just plain perfect. 6) The grip is just right. The soles grip well on smooth, wet, and other surface types, but they don't stop you so much that you look like you're tripping over invisible bumps down the hallway. 7) The shoes are lightweight. They weigh-in at roughly 1/2 of a pound on my digital weight watchers scale. 7) The price point! 8) They are ready-to-wear. I only wear asics but sometimes they don't fit or they fall apart very fast - very inconsistent sizing and quality from Amazon. These are perfect for me and I hope the next pair I order are the same!

I’ve been a Gel Excite and GT-1000 loyalist for years, but the only color ways in stock were too vibrant for my taste. Loved the look of these so I decided to try them out. My feet started to hurt within a month of regular wear (usually takes 8-10 weeks with gel excite) and a toe hole came about in less than six weeks.
