These are comfortable. Good fit. Good traction but not too much. I play pickleball on a wooden gym floor. Great shoes for that. Good looking too. I suppose I don't know how to rate a shoe as a five. I suppose if i didn't have to reach down to tie them? :-)

Did not like them when I initially tried them, thought they were rigid and heavy but after a few days, have realized why they are built the way they are. They are perfect for pickleball, they provide stability and grip. Go for them.

The shoes are comfortable and are good for indoor or outdoor play. However the sole has almost worn out in only 4 months. I use them only for playing pickleball. I'm going to have to buy another pair already and they will not be Asics. The synthetic rubber sole simply does not last. In the meantime I will be using my old pair (not Asics), the sole of which is still in very good condition. ... show more
