  • Great especially for overpronation
Late Review, bought for Fathers Day. the ASICS Men's Gel shoes. I couldn't be happier with my decision! As someone who overpronates, finding the right footwear has been a challenge, after researching what my issues was & all of my shoes leaning in, but these shoes have made a significant difference. Right out of the box, these shoes felt comfortable. The Gel cushioning provides excellent shock absorption, which reduces the impact on my joints. The arch support is fantastic! I noticed an immediate improvement in my stability. The design specifically caters to overpronators, offering the necessary support that keeps my feet aligned and reduces the risk of injury. I no longer experience the rolling sensation that I used to with other shoes. But I am an avid Jordan tennis wearer, can’t live without my Js, so I mainly wear these when I’m working & doing a lot of walking. ... show more

  • Great value for the money! On my feet all day!
Size: 15 Color: Black/Sheet Rock
As a physical education teacher who has been an active participant in various sports and activities, finding the right footwear (size 15) is not only hard, but also essential for my daily routine. With my experience using the ASICs Gel-Kayano 30s, I am excited to share how these shoes have positively impacted my life and overall comfort. I have bought many pairs for work and at home activities. I recommend these to anyone on their feet all day! These are well worth the money! Comfort and Support- One of the most significant advantages of the ASICs Gel-Kayano 30 shoes is their exceptional comfort and support. Coming off of back surgery, I've often struggled with joint pain due to the high-impact nature of my job, which includes running, jumping, and demonstrating various physical activities to my students. However, since I started wearing the Gel-Kayano 30 model, I’ve noticed a marked improvement in how my joints feel. The shoes offer ample cushioning through their Gel technology, which effectively absorbs shock during physical activity. This feature has been a game changer, as I no longer experience the discomfort that previously plagued me at night after a long day of teaching and coaching. Durability and Build Quality- The build quality of the Gel-Kayano 30s are impressive. ASICs has designed these shoes to withstand the demands of rigorous use. The materials used are both high-quality and durable, ensuring that they can endure daily wear and tear without sacrificing performance. I appreciate the sturdy construction, which provides a sense of security when demonstrating exercises or participating in sports with students. Stability and Fit- A critical factor for anyone, especially someone in my profession, is the stability of the footwear. The Gel-Kayano 30s offer excellent support, thanks to their structured design and reliable grip. This allows me to move with confidence, knowing that my feet are well supported. The shoes fit snugly around my feet without feeling overly tight, reducing the risk of blisters and discomfort during long hours of wear. Performance Across Various Activities- Whether I'm leading a game of basketball, participating in a relay race, or conducting a fitness class, the performance of the Gel-Kayano 30s remains consistently high. They provide the necessary traction on different surfaces, whether indoors or outdoors, which is crucial when transitioning between activities. Their lightweight nature aids in agility, allowing for quick movements without feeling bogged down. Aesthetic Appeal While performance is my top priority, I also appreciate the aesthetic qualities of the Gel-Kayano 30s. ASICs offers a range of color options and designs, allowing me to express my personal style while still maintaining a professional appearance as a PE teacher. This has been a bonus, as I can transition from the gym to casual outings without needing to change my footwear. In summary, the ASICs Gel-Kayano 30's have greatly enhanced my experience as a physical education teacher. With their comfort, support, durability, and excellent performance across a variety of activities, I wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone in a similar position who may be on their feet all day—especially those who are concerned about joint pain or discomfort. Investing in a quality pair of shoes like the Gel-Kayano 30s is a choice that ultimately pays off, leading to a more enjoyable and active lifestyle. ... show more

  • Perfect max cushioning stability running shoe
Size: 11.5 Wide Color: Carrier Grey/Piedmont Grey
I tried out a bunch of shoes for running moderate distances of 3-5 miles. I ended up settling on the Kayano 30. The Saucony Guide 16 and Mizuno Wave Inspire 19 were both in a very close second. I tried all of the shoes in a 11.5 wide. Gel Kayano 30: Best overall for a person with a wide and flat foot, who wants support and maximum cushion for long runs. This is the perfect shoe in that respect. -350 grams -Softness: 5/5 -Support/Guide: 4/5 -Smoothness of heel to toe ride: 5/5 -Width: Wide Brooks Glycerin GTS 20: Best overall for a person with wide and flat foot, who wants a firm and nimble feeling ride and support. This is the perfect shoe in that respect. -350 grams -Softness: 1/5 -Support/Guide: 3/5 -Smoothness of heel to toe ride: 5/5 -Width: Wide Saucony Guide 16: Best overall for a person with a wider foot, who wants a medium level of cushioning and support. This is the perfect shoe in that respect. -350 grams -Softness: 3/5 -Support/Guide: 5/5 -Smoothness of heel to toe ride: 4/5 -Width: Wide Mizuno Wave Inspire 19: Very good for a person with a wide and flat foot, who wants high cushioning for long runs. Very similar fit to the Saucony Guide 16, but with less support, slightly more cushioning, and a slightly less smooth heel to toe ride. Only real downside is that the cushioning is so soft that it "bottoms out" as if the foam isn't thick enough and you hit the harder base of the shoe under the cushioning. -343 grams -Softness: 4/5 -Support/Guide: 2/5 -Smoothness of heel to toe ride: 3/5 -Width: Wide New Balance Vongo V5: Best overall for a person with a more normal/narrow width foot who wants a little stability and soft cushioning. This is a slightly more narrow and slightly more soft version of the Saucony Guide 16. Similar to the Mizuno Wave except that it's more narrow and has a little more support. -320 grams -Softness: 4/5 -Support/Guide: 3/5 -Smoothness of heel to toe ride: 5/5 -Width: Normal/Narrow Brooks Adrenaline GTS 23: Best overall for a person with a more narrow/normal width foot who wants support and a firm and nimble feeling ride for shorter and faster runs. Not a light shoe though. Feels like a more narrow and slightly more firm version of the Glycerin GTS 20. -Softness: 1/5 -Support/Guide: 3/5 -Smoothness of heel to toe ride: 5/5 -Width: Normal/Narrow Saucony Tempus: Very light shoe. Fairly firm and feels a little stiff and clunky in the ride from heel to toe. No real advantage unless you just want a really light shoe. Questionable durability. 310 grams -Softness: 2/5 -Support/Guide: 3/5 -Smoothness of heel to toe ride: 2/5 -Width: Normal Saucony Omni 20: Similar to the Brooks Glycerin in that it's good for a person with a wide flat foot, who wants a more firm shoe with support. But the ride isn't as smooth and the shoe isn't nimble feeling and there's slightly less support. It is slightly softer than the Glycerin though. Very heavy for how firm it is. Would be a better walking shoe. -350 grams -Softness: 1.5/5 -Support/Guide: 2/5 -Smoothness of heel to toe ride: 5/5 -Width: Wide ... show more

Great shoe. It is sized right and feels good. The shows are a quality product that. The style is also very nice. I had a slight issue that I brought up to customer service and they were very prompt on handling. Customer service also went above and beyond to handle. Would definitely buy from again.

  • Squishy
Size: 12 Color: Black/Glow Yellow
Squishy, comfy, soft. All accurate. Forefoot lacing is a little tight, but that seems to be true for all cushy running shoes. Great buy.
