Pros: • awesome quality for the price • 2x 8pin and 2x 6pin PCI-E variants, and of course your CPU and 24-pin cables (6 total) • can be trained easily with included combs • thicker cables look cleaner and of higher quality than cablemod’s budget option. Cons: • Wish there were a couple additional cable combs included to help with come bends of the PCI-E cables. Not really a con, I took the extra time to train the cables to bend right and it looked great in the end anyway. • color options are a bit limited, but they’re a $30 a set. That’s the price of (1) Cablemod custom cable, like literally the 24pin pro cable would be like $26 alone. Conclusion: I’ve tried all the custom cables. Cablemod extension sets, cablemod pro customs, ensource, and these are by far the BEST VALUE there is in 2018. Not only are they dirt cheap, but they’re way better quality than the Cablemod extension counterpart. At this price point, this is a no brainer, all day! These are great looking extensions, and for the price they can't be beat. Stiff at first, but with a little work they bend just fine. My major gripe is the 24 pin extension I received was very finicky at first, needing to be positioned a certain way to actually be able to power on. It's been just over a month, and now it doesn't work at all. I've tested on a corsair cx750m and a corsair tx850m on separate motherboards, no dice. All the other cables worked fine, but I expected more than a month of use out of these. Pros: price, looks and feel. Cons: failure after short amount of time. Try them out, seriously. I've not seen many reports of failure, so I am very much in the minority. They look great and can add life to any PC. ... show more

These are actually very nice-looking extension cables, and they do work - AT FIRST. But be aware, they will not last. I ordered these year ago, Jan 4th 2020 to be exact. And I started having issues with my PC 3 weeks ago, with a WHEA_UNSTOPPABLE_ERROR BSOD while playing World of Warcraft, (which basically is kind of a catch-all for possible hardware or driver issues but Windows doesn't really know.) Without going into a bunch of detail, I ran diagnostics up the wazoo and it wasn't until I found a program called OCCT, which showed me the voltages, that I noticed things seemed amiss. My 12v 24pin motherboard header was giving me roughly 11.6v. I don't know anything about GPU voltages, those could have been off too, but I deduced that if my graphics card wasn't getting the exact volts it needed at exactly the right time, the system would BSOD. And I was right. Once I got rid of the extension cables and ran the tests again, my mobo stayed at 12v, the GPU voltages seemed to remain steady, and I played World of Warcraft without any further issues. ... show more

These cables are beautiful. They are super easy to work with and allow easy bends to be made. I'm not sure what the other reviewers mean when they say these are difficult to shape. I thought they were pretty decent. As you can see, the EPS cable had to bent quite a bit to fit but it worked like a charm and took no time at all to fiddle with. Another thing to note is that these, unlike other brands for the same price, have pre-installed one-piece combs. That's the main reason I chose these over the other brands. ... show more

I purchase two of these PSU Extension Cable kits for my systems at home because I was looking for something a little higher quality and different colors than the full length cables I have been using for the past couple of years. When they arrived today I was supposed to find them packaged the way they were. I figured they would be in a bag of some kind but they arrived in a nice box, thin but nice, with additional plastic bags inside to box for the cables, and two different options of cable combs. The extensions feel quite good in your hands and the addition of handling gloves is nice but likely unnecessary. Plus the gloves are quite small and wouldn’t work with someone whom has bigger hands. None of the ends were damaged and I spent a while tugging on each cable seeing how well they were inserted into the ends and only one was a little loose. The rest held quite well and the pins really didn’t move much at all. The colors of the cables are quite vivid and show well amongst other parts of the builds I have put them in. There are a few things I wish I could improve though. First the three cable combs for each cable may be enough for the CPU power and ATX power cable but for the GPU cables that is lot nearly enough. Now I was installing SLI GPUs which led to the use of all cables in the system and therefore I ran out of combs and had to use some that were lying around. I think 5-6 combs per GPU cable would be good. Also the molding left some flags on the combs that needed to be removed to ensure that they look good. Now I was under the impression that these cables were going to come preinstalled with one piece combs and they do not, however for the price I cannot complain. In addition the included combs hold extremely tight on the cables making it easier to bend them the way that I needed. Overall, these cables I feel were a great purchase and that I look forward to using them in the future. I hope they have a dual CPU power kit available at some point as well. ... show more

These cable are really bright and vibrant. I was a little disappointed that the cable combs weren't pre-applied like some users have reported. I had a terrible time in the past with cable combs and was worried they wouldn't look nice. I was wrong. The combs were of good quality and the came out looking nice, with some patience, not enough to remove a star.
