Black Chuck Taylor Hi-Tops are always an excellent choice for some style, but if you wear them daily for everything that you do (e.g. exercise, walk around, bike, as "rain boots," etc.) you'll find that they only last so long. For me, they usually will last anywhere from four to nine months before I have to buy a new pair. This of course does get expensive. I would recommend having these as an additional pair of shoes to go with a pair of Doc Martens or something. You can have the sturdy and the stylish within two pairs. ... show more

I've never before owned a pair of Chuck's, but have had many friends with them. I now see what I've been missing out on! I don't typically go for high-top shoes, but I really enjoy these. They are really comfortable and light-weight. Not only that, but they look fantastic! I'm on my feet a lot and have thus far had no problems. They are a little snug to put on at first, but that becomes less of a problem after a couple of wears. I'll probably invest in another pair in a different color later on. ... show more

These shoes have been on my wishlist for a while but I'm glad I purchased them. I wear a size 13 Men's and these fit perfectly. The color looks really clean and crisp, particularly with the red and blue stripe. My grandson has extremely large feet and wanted a pair of Converse shoes. These are narrower than he usually wears (2E), but he has not complained. He says his feet feel good in these shoes and he has always wanted a Converse high top.
