I gave my mother my new bedroom set before I moved to England. It is a lovely set, but has a huge design flaw: instead of slats, the manufacturer designed the bed to have MDF panels running vertically. Now, I had a memory foam mattress on this and the MDF warped and the center of my mattress sunk down. It made for an uncomfortable situation. My mother hates Tempur-Pedic, so she got a new mattress for the bed. I had reversed the panels to see if her spring bed would flatten them, but what she really needed was some slats going across. This was a great buy. It is quite strong. It is a little difficult to handle from the parcel as it is heavy, so maybe have someone help you out. Otherwise, just roll it out and place your bed atop. It made a huge difference with her bed. I had always meant to buy one when I had it, but never got to it. This can save you a lot of money if you are having sagging issues. ... show more

Fits the Ashley Furniture twin bed perfectly and made it so much better than the original wood. Has screw holes in the wood which helps installation. Such a sturdy wooden roll for beds!

I got two of these sets for a bunkbed. The bunkbed only had rails on the edges to hold a bunkie board or slats, however, I opted for the slats as I felt they were more sturdy and could be screwed in place. With that being said, these slats were not the greatest, as they did not fit on the bunkbed, and I had to cut them to fit. Once they were cut, they were able to be screwed in with ease, however, with having to cut off the ends, the counter sunk holes that were pre-drilled for the screws did not work well as some of them were cut in half. If you get these, I would definitely Measure your bed first and maybe install these before putting the side rails on. Giving four stars because everything was simple to do, but really would rate more like 3.5 for all the work that I had to do. ... show more

Be prepared to adapt, improvise, overcome unless you are also buying their mattress frame. Some of the parts for this support are even packed in that frame pack. The slats support (for which the legs are not included) is flimsy and poorly designed. I had to get creative and innovative. The slats were not even uniform in size. I had to give it 2 stars seeing as how I was eventually able to make it usable. If the frame requirement is mentioned in their item description it must be well concealed. ... show more
