I've now taken this backpack across the world on many trips and it is time to leave a proper review. When I am going to a warm climate I can fit a week of clothes, 15 in. laptop, toiletries, and a book or two all in this backpack and slide it under the seat in front of me as a carry on. Its size is perfect, and when you have to overstuff it a bit the clips on the exterior help you keep the contents condensed so the bag can fit under the seat. I am skeptical I could fit a 17 in laptop in there when the main pouch is full of clothes, but I haven't tried. The main pouch for clothes is huge, and fully unzips on 3 sides like a suitcase which I have found to be very handy. The laptop pocket can be frustrating to pack, because it unzips in an upside down U so anything heavy in the exterior pocket makes the zipper section uncooperative. Minor design flaw that I have learned to work around by not fully unzipping the pocket and by packing the exterior pocket last. I wish the zipper shape was a sideways U like the main pocket rather than a vertical U. So far nothing on the bag has broken or torn, the stitching quality is acceptable but I expect it won't last a decade. Should last me a good few more years though. The packing pouches that are included are very cheap and one has torn on me a tiny bit, but I still use them all and find them useful. The biggest pouch included is about the same size as the backpack (see picture). I find the material the bag is made of a bit hard to clean, so the bag has gotten some stains that I can not remove. Overall I am very pleased with the bag for the price, and recommend it to anyone looking for an under-seat carry on backpack that they can travel with and expect to last for 5 or so years. I used this as a personal item on a airline flight. It looks like a backpack or laptop bag. It's slightly larger but has straps you can tighten to squish it down.The best part is the zipper goes almost all the way around to open and it packs like a suitcase.Or you can open only at the top like a backpack. The included packing cubes are a huge bonus and keep all your clothes confined and clean when you open it during the flight to take out your laptop. All the zippers, straps and stitching are sturdy. The laptop section is basic and could have some smaller pockets to keep pens, earbuds, etc from sliding all the way to the bottom(the backpack is tall) but I just use a small makeup bag. i usually dont give reviews, but this bag surprised me, i was going to return it, but i decided to try it and see how much cloths i can fit in this bag.I put 3 shorts, 2 jeans, 7 shirts, 7 under cloths,socks, 1 pair of crocs and my small portable iron. I roll all my cloths and all fit perfect, i love the tighting straps in and outside the bag, it keeps the cloths in place and compact.The bag also came with packing cubes and a laudry bag, but i decided not to use then in order to have more room for my crocs. The bag is excellant, i packed cloths for 7 days and most importantly, no need to pay those high prices to check your bag at the airport.The bag seems very durable and the straps are very sturdy. ... show more

Just took this bag on a two week trip. I was amazed at everything that I could fit into it. The organizer bags were great as well. However, I still used plastic packing bags (air tight seals) so I could reduce the space that my clothes would use (I packed 5 different outfits and some pjs). This gave me added room for my makeup bag, toiletries, laptop, chargers, book, planner, hat and gloves, and 1 extra pair of shoes. The extra tie down straps inside came in handy as well as the ones on the outside of the bag. I was able to tighten things up and then easily zip everything without any worry of a tear or the zipper breaking. The color is fantastic. I got the light blue color. The shoulder straps are padded enough where I could comfortably walk through the airport and stand holding the bag on my shoulders for periods of time without them or my back hurting. It also has handles so you can carry it like luggage. I love this bag so much better than the rolling carry on I used to have.
