It is good for what it is. The coil was slightly pinched in the packaging which made it really difficult to lay flat and training it to stay was kinda difficult. I ended up having to tape the cable to my desk in multiple spots with painters tape to get it to sit right. After like 4 or 5 days of that though it honestly looks good. The cable length is also kinda short if you have a larger desk. I ended up running a 3ft usb extension cable to better hide the cable. ... show more

The sk64 looks different because I've swapped the keycaps. I'm using hyper x pudding keycaps if you would like to purchase them. The cable looks great, it is kinda rough, so it won't move like other soft coiled cables (if that bothers you). I was a bit afraid of reviews as they old units were failing. However, I've contacted them before purchasing the cable, and they have fixed their quality issues with the new batches (at least that's what they have told me). *I will update my review after a couple of months. O bought this with the expectation it would fit in my keydous nj80. That was not the case as it did not fit in the recessed port. I have to send it back and either use the stock cable or find something else with a smaller jacket.

The reason I ding this cable as hard as i do...company packaging of the product. They folded the long length of the cable so it is almost permanently bent and wont run straight on a desk. I'd had mine for a couple weeks now, still kinked. Scroll some of the other photos in the review gallery and you can see the same issue. Normally, for a plain old cable I wouldn't care much. But coiled keyboard cables like this are wanted for aesthetic reasons, and having kinks that don't come out is a detractor. ... show more

Quality coiled cable for an extremely good price. I’m new to the whole keyboard thing and once I saw how people get coiled cables I had to have one lol. Everywhere I looked they were $40+ and that just seemed crazy for a single cable. Enter Asceny and their coiled cable and I couldn’t be happier. It’s very clean. Cable is double braided and has a nice texture to it. The coils themselves are roughly an inch in height and about 6” in length to give you an idea. They seem to have been wound pretty tight and evenly. This is a great starter cable for a great price if you’re looking to get one without shelling out a ton of money. I’ll probably stick with it since I have no need for the custom aviator type cables everyone seems to get so if you’re like me, pick one up and you won’t regret it :) ... show more
