I bought these originally for a trauma-informed course I was taking in college that was going to have us doing art therapy; I have now continued to use them for both myself and my children at home to doodle, draw, write, etc. I love the sturdiness of the book and its pages. I usually get Bianyo Mixed Media sketchbook, so when I got these for a deal during Prime days, I hoped the paper was going to be similar. There is a big difference. This is more of a “traditional” light weight sketch book paper, not a bright white and not as thick. As an artist, this will be great for sketching ideas and making thumbnails, but for drawings that I’ll need to scan in to digitize through, or use marker or colored pencil, I’ll still be using Bianyo as my budget drawing paper. This paper has its purpose, and great paper for your teenage artist!
