It wasn't too hard to put together, but you better know your way around tools. Some of holes for screws and pins were painted over during the manufacturing process, so I recommend getting a bore brush like you would find in a gun cleaning kit, attaching it to a power drill and brushing out the holes. That seemed to do the trick for me. It came about a week late, but I blame that on FedEx and not the company. The box came a bit beat up, but the chair was fine. Artist Hand may want to consider switching to a different shipping company as I had to cancel my first order of this chair because it got lost. The chair is comfortable and sturdy and works as described so far. I've only had it a few days, so if things go bad quick, we will have a revisit. I have it on a carpet, sat my 225lb but in it and shook around pretty hard both upright and laid back. I wouldn't practice rodeo in it, but I don't think it will tip over under normal use, even on a rug. Good buy. Update: It's been over a year now of daily use. It's still in great shape. I use it to do my wife's hair an makeup (she has a movement disorder called Huntington's Disease that is similar to Parkinson's Disease). So she has a lot of problems sitting still. Even on carpet, fully raised and fully reclined, it's quite stable on carpet. Pumps up, and goes down with ease. Swivels well. Recline has no issues. The headrest spring lock can be a little difficult to use, but it's not a big deal. Still very comfortable. ... show more

The chair is great and all, just not what i was looking for. I do tattoos and was looking for something that folded all the way down, this one does not and so I tried to send it back but ups was trying to charge me a rediculous rate, but the seller and I worked together to find a solution that works and made both parties happy. This chair is beautiful, comfortable, sturdy, and the cushion seat is thick. Not to mention it reclines which will help my clients relax after sitting for 16 hours. It took some effort to put it together but it was worth it! This chair exceeds my expectations! 🥰❤️

DO NOT BUY from this merchant. I bought a barber chair. It was a gift for a friends birthday. I did not open when I received it . The day of the birthday came about 5 days after I received. My friend opened the box and a big rip and yellow big stain on the white part of the chair. OMG by face dropped. I contacted merchant they said keep the chair we do not want it shipped back we offer discount $50. Omg I said no I paid 350$. For what looks like a used chair are u serious. They then sent me another email saying we don’t want chair we give you 80$. I said since u said twice u don’t want chair and it looks like the yellow stain is a urine stain I’m throwing it away. I throw chair away then they say we are sending a label to send back chair. What kind of game are they playing. A joke company sends used stuff out for price of new. Garbage customer service on top.
