This is the best mouse pad on the market. It's the best for tracking and getting comfortable with any sensitivity you have on your mouse. I will say I cleaned under the mat and now it's doesn't stay on the surface of my desk very well. It slides around a little. I don't know if it's because the surface of my desk has a material that allows it to do that or I removed any tactileness the pad had when I cleaned it. Over I'm gonna buy another one

I was previously using the hien xl soft, and this immediately is a step up. The hiens obvious flaws being the rougher texture, which I didn't mind and the x and y being different. The hayate otsu solves both those issues, while still retaining the speed, but with a pretty big upgrade in the control department. The speed of this pad is honestly pretty close to hien, the difference is you're able to control the start and stop of the motion so much more, it's night and day. I saw immediate improvements across games, valorant, apex, overwatch. Tracking was better, flicks were more consistent, glide just in general was so smooth and soft, it actually is kind of crazy how much a difference it makes going from a scratchier pad like the hien. It makes you almost forgot about the pad and just focus on aiming. Also it's really soft to the touch, it's nice just letting your arm/hand rest on it. If the durability of this is close to the hien, then that'll make it even better. Ive had the hien for almost 2 years and have only washed it about 6 or 7 times in that span and while the glide has slowed down a bit, it's still fast, the only thing was that the glide was a bit inconsistent from the spots that were used more vs the unused parts. This affected the mouse if you went too high or too low on the pad and there were slight differences in glide. Only con I guess is price, compared to if you get it on the artisan site, but I also just like the convenience of buying it off Amazon, if I have to pay ~$15-20 more than, oh well. It arrived in around 4 days and that was with me ordering it on a weekend. This pad also is just more expensive than the hien, or the others if I'm not mistaken, but it's definitely worth the upgrade. If you're on the hien already, id highly recommend this as the next pad from artisan. Can't say much for the others like the Raiden, or the zero, but this pad can be used for basically all game types without worry compared to something really fast and not as much control like the hien.

This Artisan mouse pad offers incredible performance—the glide is smooth, and the control is perfect for gaming or precision work. It genuinely feels premium and has noticeably improved my mouse accuracy. However, maintaining that “like-new” feeling can be a bit annoying. It picks up dirt and oils over time, and regular cleaning is a must to keep the glide consistent. I’ve found that even small amounts of buildup can affect performance, so it requires more upkeep than other mouse pads I’ve used. That said, if you’re willing to put in the effort, it’s absolutely worth it. The performance is unmatched, but be prepared for the maintenance routine.

This mouse pad has a nice feel to it. I recommend the x large one because it is still quite small if you’re looking for a bigger mouse pad. It’s comfortable and sturdy!

By far the best pad I’ve ever used. I started out with the corsair mm pro, then a gsr. those pads wore out in a month due to humidity and became very slow and muddy. Artisan pads are resistant to humidity and I gotta say I love this pad and it instantly improved my gameplay a ton. The only pad I’ll be replacing it with is another one down the road once this one gets worn out.
