We got this artificial grass turf rug, a 7' x 10' piece to lay in front of the pool steps in hope of a cooler and softer out-of-the-pool exit onto the hot cement. It does provide a soft feel and a nice comfortable surface underfoot and durable enough to withstand the moisture while using. The TPR rubber backing helps to keep the grass rug firmly in place on the cements surface while soaking wet. It's a breeze to care for... just rinse with a hose and hang for a quick air-dry. When side-by-side it looks and feels like real grass... offering the same nice green color and a close appearance of a luscious natural lawn. At a distance you can't even distinguish between the real and faux... instant curb-appeal! On a closer look and feel it's more light-weight and not as full and plush as I was expecting. You will see some bare spots and the corners have a tendency to blow up in the wind. All-in-all the grass rug works well for our purpose and Best of all no grass clippings in the pool. This review is for the Artificial Grass Turf Rug 7x10 FT Outdoor Indoor Fake Grass Carpet Realistic Grass Turf Faux Lawn Pet-Friendly Area Rug Green Grass Rug Ideal for Patio, Balcony, Garden, Backyard, Photo Shoot Backdrop. For me, it's definitely a 5-star item because for my particular use, it will work just fine. What IS my use? I had a big (32' wide by 10' deep) front porch built last summer, then a pathway from my driveway to the front porch entrance area after that. There's about 18-24" of grass between the porch and the pathway, but it's impossible to mow with my riding mower and so I will be using this fake grass in that area (if needed, I will use landscaping staples to hold it in place). This plan will work for me because I wasn't planning to actually PLANT anything there - rather, I will use potted flowers and greenery, and I think they will look beautiful. I ordered the 7'x10' size and that gives me LOTS of area to cut my fake grass sections. Other projects are higher priority right now, so I took some pictures on my porch but haven't yet cut the rug to size, so I will try to remember to come back and take another picture once this is in place in at least one of the areas in front of the porch. My first picture was when I first opened the box - the "grass" looked very green and very lush. It does have a few bare spots, as you can see in my second picture when I laid the "grass" out on my porch, but again, for my purposes, it is definitely full enough. For my third picture, I just had some fun and added my Christmas resin dog on top of the rug - I think he enjoyed that "grass"! And for my fourth picture, I wanted to see how potted plants would look on the "grass," so that's what you see - a 14" planter with flowers and a 12" planter with greenery. I think they look very nice, especially the beige of the planter on the deep green of the rug. Overall I am very happy to have this and I will be even happier when we finally get it into place! The current coupon price of $75.99 (as of 6/3/26) isn't bad at all for a "grass" rug of this size.

I had pretty mixed feelings about this artificial grass rug. From a distance, it actually looks decent and it definitely improved the bare, shady spot in my yard where nothing seems to want to grow. For that alone, it served a purpose. But once you get up close and walk on it, it feels much more like an outdoor carpet than what I personally think of as true artificial turf. The pile is pretty thin, and the whole thing is lightweight compared to higher quality turf products. It does have some softness to it, but it lacks the thicker, more realistic feel that you would expect from premium artificial grass. The backing seems okay for light use, but I honestly question how well it’s going to hold up long term outdoors, especially in areas that get regular foot traffic or weather exposure. To be fair, installation is easy since it’s lightweight and simple to move around, and I like that you can trim it to fit different spaces. It could work well for temporary use, covering an ugly patch, a patio area, or even as a backdrop or decorative surface. I just wouldn’t go into this expecting it to feel like professionally installed artificial turf. Overall, I’d call this more of a turf-style outdoor rug than true artificial grass. It looks better than bare dirt, but I was hoping for something thicker and more durable. Right now, I’d give it 3 stars. It’s usable, but I’ll probably keep looking for a more long-term solution.

Artificial turf is very poorly made and I would not recommend you purchase it. That said, I did not need it to be a very good quality so it's working fine for my needs. But I believe you'll be disappointed if you purchase this artificial turf

I put this down on my patio and it's done a good job transforming the space. The color is a natural-looking green — not the neon plastic shade you sometimes get with budget artificial turf — and the drainage holes on the back work well; water doesn't pool after rain. The pile has a bit of softness to it while still feeling durable underfoot. It's easy to cut to size if needed, which is helpful for irregular spaces. Long-term UV and weather resistance remains to be seen, but for the price and the size, it's a genuinely useful and good-looking outdoor solution. Pet-friendly too — easy to rinse clean.

Perfect size, very bright and vibrant blend of greens. Love it on my patio for my dog and her puppies to play on. The rubber grip bottom is grippy for sure and durable from the puppies being able to chew on it. Easy to clean off if they go on it.

We like to use this artificial grass turf rugs at all entry ways, it helps to cut down on debride being tracked into the house. This rug is a very nice size and is green. That's where the positives end. All edges are unfinished and are just straight cut plastic, it is a smooth cut. The grass it's self is very sparse and thin, you can see through to the substrate. The grass is not full enough to make it stand upright, but lays down and just flops around. I know that in one season the underneath vegetation will just grow through it. This would be good for a camping substrate, and works in areas that you do not expect to have lush material.

This stuff reminds me of the artificial grass from back in the day.. 70's and 80's for you younguns. The blades are sparce, leaving space to see the backing. Not as plush as their AI generated photos in the listing show. If you compare this with a good artificial grass the difference is night and day. The good stuff is actually soft and nice to walk on, this stuff is corse and more itchy than pitchy. Lol, see what I did there.. anyway. This is a big no for me, it is pretty bad and unless you are refurbing a rec room from your childhood, steer clear.
