Our balcony is just gray pavement, which not only blends in with the gray sky & water, but is also very hot for bare feet. This turf was easy to trim to size (must vacuum to get the little bits) and looks & feels excellent. It’s very soft and gives our place nice natural lighting. It came with a bit of a factory smell, but after a few hours in the sun, it’s undetectable. The bottom is porous enough that it shouldn’t trap water. Overall recommend, makes our balcony a much cozier place to be!! The only thing I would change is the variation in color. There are some curly beige bits in there that add to the realism, but otherwise it looks a teeny bit “too perfect” (though I suppose that’s a side effect of most turf).

I ordered this artificial turf because I needed a large mat to make several tee off spots for my backyard putting green. Since this was 8 feet long, I was able to get 3 nice sized sections out of it that were 5 feet wide and 32 inches long. I constructed a wooden base for each tee box and used one section for each. I hit about 50 shots off the tee box so far and it is holding up well. If it can take multiple hits from a golf club, then it should last a while for whatever you are using it for. The only thing I was concerned about for durability is that the rubber base seems to be a little thin and it was very easy to cut in sections using a utility knife. The turf grass is 1.38" high but at the present time it is lying flat and makes it easier to tee off of.

This artificial grass turf comes tightly rolled and packed. It's been stretched out on our patio for almost a week, and it's still tightly compacted. We tried raking it and brushing, but it shed a lot of blades of grass when we did that. I'm not sure how long it will take for the blades to stand upright, so this will look more like real grass. The turf has 4 shades of green for a more realistic look. I like that it's non-toxic and lead free, as well as fire resistant. We have a lawn, and it doesn't match that. We got it for the side of the house where we don't have real grass, and it works perfectly for that. Hopefully it will decompress soon, and start looking more realistic. I can see where children and pets would enjoy this turf. It feels good on the feet, and if you don't have a real lawn, it's a decent alternative. Plus, you don't have to mow, water, feed, edge or aerate it. Just hose it off when it gets dirty, and the water will drain out through the drain holes.

This is beautiful high pile turf that looks like real grass. Also easy to cut to fit. Great price for 6x12 for the pile height, other Amazon options were more expensive for lower grass height. Looks amazing on my balcony!
