This runner was the PERFECT addition to my son's "Welcome Table" at his open house. We went with a baseball theme & it turned out AMAZING. It was longer than we needed so we were able to cut it and also use it as our centerpiece. Definitely worth the money, especially being able to use it for more than 1 thing. I wish I could have opportunity to use it but my daughter “borrowed” it and keeps telling me she will return it after she uses it for an upcoming event and then another event comes up and she keeps holding on to it. This sounded very weird when I got to know about the idea of putting grass mat as a runner on the dinning table or on top of any table. I got it to see it myself how it will look and I personally did not like it. Had I put it on a table outdoor, it might look acceptable. If I had to place it on the table, I wish to have softer grasses and bit smaller as well. They should not be longer than half an inch. But this one has over an inch grass length. The base looks good and well made to be placed on the table. But I started using it in my patio garden over tiles and placed some pots on it. Now it looks better to me. But its a note for everyone, this runner is not designed for patio or outdoor use.
