Yeah not so much for turf- I feel it looks much longer in their pictures! This is great for other stuff - decorative table cover ( has nice white backing + matches my grass table runner ) , backdrops, photos, does not slide around on tile, tables, concrete, other hard surfaces- which is good. Not plush or soft in any way. Far too short for turf- and too lightweight(in my opinion). For a yard I really want 1.5 minimum ive discovered. We have some 1.7" that is thick and lush - heavy enough to stay put and beds in nice in our sandy land. The 1.5" has been workable as well but 1.7" we have is so plush and stays put so well its really great.( pictures so this one on top of our turf grass for comparison) For me this is too thin - completely flat on arrival and takes a lot of work to get any height.. I'm measuring 1" but less in most areas. It's not very dense so it just flattens when I walk on it- I feel its more useful as decorstive peice indoors even as the white backing will get icky. My outdoor over concrete turfs are black on the back. This type of backing is really nicer for indoors,decor , crafts. AS topper on dog litter box maybe- BUT again the white backing ... - i just think id rather not. Its really fairly priced If you want Turf for yard tho i suggest something thicker and more dense .. using this as yard would be a constant a Chore- just constantly fixing it-at least in my area- with less realistic look - imo. Its not as realistic looking as our turf. - If you love golf course height green grass - wamt to Make a mini put out in your yard- this might be for you though. For use as Lawn I would give this 3 stars (this is personal pref). For other purposes like (backdrop, photo prop, decor, dog potty box) 4 stars. I remain clueless as to how these super lightweight shorter grasses are to be kept to the ground (nobody wants a bunch of fasteners and they get corner flipped in storms, when dogs run around , ir even I walk on them : ), The thicker heavier mats w/ longer blades are sooo much heavier and stay where I put them conform to the ground to ni fasteners needed. So while there are MANY uses for this I disagree that YARD turf is among them. SINCE it matches our table runnner , which i did not notice at first as it was put away - Ive decided to make placemats - or chargers really out of this roll!! It will hold its fluff more so with out foot traffic - and will be awesome for summer themed and golf themed events - feel this would be better marketed for decor than turf.

Does not look as realistic as portrayed in the photos. And being that it is only 1 foot wide, it really is not for use as anything other than crafts or decorations. I used it for my little girls doll houses backyard. Worked great for playtime, and have some left over for fairy gardens or the such. The bottom is nice and gripping like, slightly padded. Some of the blades fall off as it gets moved around, so I don't think walking on it would be very durable. The colors are streaked, green and light green, not a real looking shade. Good for the playhouse. Hoses off easiy to wash, but does shed when doing so.

I love this grass strip because it is such a versatile table runner!! I have used it for fall-spring decoration so far on a round dining table and it looks amazing once you get different fill ins like leaves, pine cones, mushrooms, snowballs and snowbanks of cotton, flowers, valentines gnomes, shamrocks, Easter eggs, and I’m sure it will look great decked out for July 4 on a red-white-blue tablecloth with firework picks. It was a staple this past year and I’ll have a hard time switching out, and I usually change out the table runner and decor every season, so it’s a good thing for my budget, at least. Amazing value for me because I’m literally using it all the time. I haven’t had much shedding and it still looks the way it did out of the box, crisp green and lush. It looks like astroturf, so is obviously not real grass, but the intended effect is met. It’s easy to clean with a good shake off, I use window cleaner and a paper towel if something gets spilled on it. You could also just hit it with the sink sprayer, and hang or lay flat to dry. It comes rolled very tightly, but relaxes to flat at the last edge within a week. I didn’t have issues with stability when I set a vase with water on top of it, but did have a little bobble with similar items that had very little weight at the bottom. Do take care not to set a hot pan on it, as it will melt (hasn’t happened but I always have to remind myself when I’m setting food out bc I usually use cloth runners).

Super soft astro-turf that my cats love rolling around in! I got it to put by the sunniest window during the fall & winter since it gets way too cold for them to go in their catio. For the last 6½ months, this turf has held up to scratching, biting, and catnip-fueled zoomies while keeping the feline gremlins happy and preventing cabin fever. We're all very happy with it.

The runner feels lightweight and versatile — Artificial Grass Table Runner This artificial grass table runner lays flat, and even the grass strands themselves are flat, which actually works better if you plan on setting things on top of it. At 12 x 72 inches, it’s long enough for our table and not too wide—just the right size. It does not look realistic but works when other decorations are added. It rolls out completely flat and doesn’t seem to shed any grass strands. I think it looks best for Easter décor, but it could easily work for other holidays like Thanksgiving. Only a few strands were loose, which isn’t bad at all. It rolls up easily for storage and is simple to clean—just rinse it in the sink. The backing feels like it might be non-slip, but it’s not; however, it doesn’t slide around much either. It doesn’t scratch or damage the table, and it’s very lightweight. For the price, it’s a good multipurpose table runner that can be reused for different occasions — 4.5/5 stars.

Let me start out saying that I thought the description photos would be too good to be true since I did not see any true real-life depictions. The photos show and state "grass yarn, lush" and shows realistic dense material. What I received is not the same quality. Now, I had balanced my expectations because, for the price, I doubted this would be actual grass-like so while I was a tad disappointed, I wasn't surprised. That said, it isn't to say this is necessarily bad if you put aside the description. However, more realistic photos would go a long way to manage expectations and curb disappointments. This is good for what it is so my main issue is not with the product itself but rather the description. This does come tightly rolled so the grass layers are flattened. I was able to rough them up and get them fluffed but they don't stay that way out of package without more manipulation. The material label lists this as PP and PE which online reveals both are considered safe for food contact and nontoxic which is good since I got this for use in my spider enclosures. I wanted a more "lush" bottom for my set ups so I implemented the following strategy: I easily cut my 4"x4" square and washed it with unscented dish soap and then fluffed it up and soaked the portion in warm distilled water to help extract any toxins. Then, I rewashed and rinsed in hot tap water while fluffing the fibers, bending them the opposite direction. The heat helped relax them . I air dried and they stick up straighter now. There are at least 2 colors mixed in as well as different thicknesses to give dimension. However, while the thinner grasses help fill in underneath the thicker strands, you will still see the mat beneath if you give it close look. Not bad, though, for what it is and honestly I love the natural look in my enclosure. This is not high-quality turf and not meant to be. More on the order of party decor but it held up remarkably well during all that handling and scrubbing without falling apart or losing excessive fibers. There was a faint smell upon opening but that disappeared after my washing routine. There was some fallout as expected but nothing so bad to affect the overall density. The grass is softer than the short thick plastic grass rugs, not pointy/prickly and I feel will cushion falls with injury to my spiders. Plus, during the soaking period and washing I did not detect any dye release so appears to be colorfast as stated. Special notes: --I do not have water or high humidity on my enclosures and there is some question that PE may leach into water sources if in contact or submerged so individual discretion is advised for your set up. --Holds up to cutting but I would advise you try to stand up the strands before doing so. If they are lying flat and you cut, you will cut off length of the last row making it shorter than intended. If you fluff them up or hold them up while cutting, they will keep the full length. ⭐ 5 : Love It — Works exactly as described; excellent product for what it is. No regrets for my use even though it might require a little extra work. My main issue is the discrepancy between the product and the description. But, that's why I am pointing out these observations to allow more accurate expectations of product's quality for other buyers. I believe it is a great product with managed expectations that performs well at this price point.

I use this mostly for crafting for my Etsy shop. I would say that if you’re using it for an actual table top runner the grass is really fake looking. I’ve definitely used better artificial grass for crafting otherwise but if you’re in a pinch and you need something and you just can’t find anything or this seems to be the cheapest option then I would go for it.
