This low pile artificial turf is much thinner and less dense than I expected. It definitely looks and feels like artificial grass, and feels a little scratchy on my feet. The rubber, non-slip backing on the bottom of the mat is quite thin with very little cushion. The grass mat arrived folded and took several days for it to flatten out in the sun. I wanted to keep this on my deck year-round, but I’m not sure it will last all summer out in the sun. The color of the mat is bright green, which resembles the color of healthy grass. This mat is low maintenance and is easy to hose off and keep clean. It drains well. Liquids don’t pool on top of it, so it works well as a puppy pad. It’s compact and light enough to use for RV travel, to place seasonally on your deck or patio, or to use around a pool or spa. This outdoor turf is quick and easy to set up. Plus, it’s easy to cut to the size and shape you want. This artificial carpet is versatile and can be used indoors or outdoors. Overall, this artificial 5’ x 8’ turf seems pricey compared to its quality and durability. For about $49, I feel it’s an OK value for temporary use. I wouldn’t recommend using this year-round or keeping it out in direct sunlight for a prolonged period.

This artificial grass is nice and I have it on my pool deck. I did take off one star because it gets extremely hot in the sun. I’m not talking like hot as it should be, it gets hotter than what I think. It is hotter than my deck that is dark brown out there which is quite alarming that this thing just soaks up the heat. It does feel nice on the feet although you can tell it is artificial. The grass length is I’m a longer side, and I don’t have issues with the corners coming up. I will say it does let water through because it has been out in the rain and I do not see any puddling of water on this. So must have some pretty good breathability. Overall, I am happy with this purchase, although I will remember not to have bare feet on this during the summer if it is in the sun.

I want to give this 5x8ft Artificial Grass Turf 5 stars so badly, but since there’s no drainage for water, I’m forced to give 3 stars since I will have to put it away/hang dry every time it rains. I live in the Seattle (WA) area so it rains a lot!! This makes this rug not be available on about 150 days per year (via SIRI) for me. If the plastic backing grid had some holes for draining? This would be a 5⭐️ knockout! I was looking for some turf to cover the slats in my deck and protect my dogs nails when kicking the ball around. This is perfect! It’s large enough for him, a 12lb Papillon, to play and roughhouse on! The “grass” is very fake looking, but could still spruce up an outdoor terrace or patio by adding some always welcome greenery! Note that it does have a scratchy plastic feel to it that may be too rough on sensitive feet. The size is generous!! It fit my patio chairs (2 out of 4 pictured) perfectly, with space to add a little table for drinks and food! If this had drainage it would definitely merit a higher star rating. 3⭐️ for needing to hang dry on rainy days and accidental spills

We love using artificial turf in our dog run. It keeps our pups' feet from getting dusty, helps keep weeds under control, and makes the whole area look so much cleaner. From a distance, it honestly looks like real grass. The color is natural looking, and the blades have enough variation that it doesn't scream "fake." It also has a nice soft feel underfoot, so it's comfortable for both people and pets. One of my favorite things is how easy it is to maintain. When the dogs track in mud or make a mess, I can simply rinse it off with the hose, and it cleans up quickly. It's so much easier than constantly trying to revive patches of real grass. Another huge benefit for my family is allergies. Several of us have awful grass allergies, so being able to have the look of a green lawn without the sneezing, itchy eyes, and misery is a huge win. We still get a nice outdoor space without paying the allergy tax every time we step outside. The rubber backing gives it a nice weight so it stays where you put it, and it's easy enough to move if you want to use it on a patio, balcony, or another area around the house. If you're looking for a low maintenance option for pets, small outdoor spaces, or anyone who struggles with grass allergies, this is a great solution. It looks good, cleans up easily, and has made our dog run much more enjoyable for both our pups and our family.
