I ordered the "Artificial Grass, 36 x 24 Inches Dog Pee Pads, Professional Artificial Turf Grass Outdoor for Home Entryway Patio Garden Area Rug Lawn Door Mat Decoration" because my pup has a doggy door leading from the kitchen/breakfast area out to the yard. However, my yard isn't fully enclosed, so I had to rig a smaller, enclosed area for her until I can budget having the fences done by a professional. As you can see in the photo, the 36x24" grass rug does not fully cover the designated "dog area," but this is a test drive for me. I'm not sure how my pup will react to artificial turf, but I thought we could give it a go and see how well it works out. The hopeful intent is that I'll be able to keep her area clean AND minimize the necessity for ongoing weeding. The areas in the photo are lined with cardboard as a weed barrier and if this project works out well enough, I plan to redo the full area this time next year with a piece of artificial grass which will cover the full enclosure. Fingers crossed! As for the quality of the product, I do not have any experience with artificial grass to pull from, so I have to say I'm pretty ok with it right now. I will update this review if the artificial grass does not hold up or if anything unexpected comes of it. Until then, I feel this product is reasonably priced for what it is and I am pleased to have it.

(Item: CooRug Artificial Grass, 35 x 23 Inches Dog Pee Pads, Professional Artificial Turf Grass Outdoor for Pets Home Entryway Patio Garden Area Rug Lawn Door Mat Decoration / $13 at the time of ordering) I bought this because I needed a puppy pee pad. Though they mentioned it could be used as that in the description, it’s actually meant to be used more as a mat since there’s no actual padding beneath it. I did use it with some absorbent pads I had. And though the holes in the turf are very small and fairly far apart from one another, it does sort of work. More holes would have been better. So, not a perfect pee pad but definitely doable. Plus, I really liked that it was offered in a larger size. So many actual puppy pads are pretty small in size. And it was fairly priced for a 30-inch+ pad. Overall, fairly happy.

This is a nice realistic looking grass potty pad. It’s not as vibrant green as the fake turf I have for my seating area so it does look a bit more real which I like. It’s easy to clean and it’s held up well to the inclement weather we often get. I laid a paving stone on it for a bit to get it to fully lay flat and then simply fluffed it back once I had it where I wanted it. The dogs seem just as comfortable using this patch as they do the regular grass. I’m trying to teach them to use this patch so that we don’t accidentally step in dog mess in the back yard grass. This would be a nice solution if you live in a place without a yard and just want to train them to go in a certain area outside. It does get a little hot if it’s in full sunlight all day so if you walk around barefoot and aren’t using it as a potty pad keep that in mind.

It comes with instructions to secure it to the ground (?) as though you'll be redoing your backyard with it or something. Yeah, it's not that big. It's like a door mat size, but I got it for my fur babies for when they need to do business outside but it's raining/storming. I have an area just off the porch that is still protected from the rain, but it's all rock and they don't seem to want to go in the rock but they don't like going out in the rain either. I thought this might help. Time will tell if it does. It's pretty "tall" grass and once it's fluffed up seems nice enough. It takes a little work to flatten it out once you unroll it. It wouldn't fool anyone into thinking it's actual grass so don't misunderstand that. The edges are rough too so on first glance it looks really cheesy. It should do the job well enough though.
