I bought this for use with cats initially. I attached it to a table. It's made nail trimming and flea medication application much easier. Functions as it should and of good value for the price. Also used it to help hold a medium sized pit bull. My dog was able to fit well and it did hold him to allow me to clip his nails. He did not pull much, it worked well enough. Very durable for use with cats and smaller dogs.

It works well for my needs. My otherwise uncooperative dog stands still for me to brush him and clean his ears. I mounted to an existing loveseat frame. I can recommend this product, but make sure you look at all of the measurements to assure that it will fit your needs.

So far it seems fairly sturdy. I'm using it for my 10 pound and 14 pound dogs. It supports either of them with a noose or in a hammock. The assembly was pretty straightforward, but the paint made some pieces very tight to assemble. The height and weight adjustment is a bit difficult, also due to the paint job. Overall, very good value for the money.

Lots of problems with this item. First, the locking nut came completely stripped out so we had to go buy a new nut and bolt to replace it. Second, the slip lead is looped weird and doesn't work well. Lastly, this arm is not stable. I had it anchored correctly (I have used C Clamps before) on a sturdy metal table. The moment my 15lb 20inch tall puppy tried to move the entire arm collapsed over and was useless. The bolt at the base for the C Clamp does not stay secured.

I’m quite excited to use this table top mount. I am not using it to groom my dog, but instead to give her medication and clean her ears. I have a good friend who is a groomer and my dog currently has an ear infection. However, she is having surgery and there’s also a holiday weekend coming up, so I needed a solution to keep my dog healthy. She will not let me put drops in her ear, ect. She has to be on the grooming table and using a “groomers helper” type noose leash. I don’t plan on using the colored loops, but I did use another Amazon purchase to hook a double ended clip attachment to the pole using a zip tie. That way I can attach that to the front clip of her harness to keep her steady. Hopefully this investment will save us a lot of future trips to the groomers.
