Not everyone can do it and have it look good. If you have never tinted windows, don't even try it. Good product, I hope it lasts, in my case I put it on top of a mirror, a painted wall is much easier.

First, let me say, I wanted to give this 4 stars because the color was not as brilliant as the image laid it out. But after I thought about it, that's MY fault for not accounting for computer image layout v. real life visual appeal. So my bad. NOTE: Image when placed on wall is very very dark at the top and all the way down to mid-level and then there's a burst (small amount) of color at the very bottom and on one side. Yes, I know the image looks that way ON SCREEN, but as a buyer, visualize WHERE your focal point will be when people look at your wall and THEN decide if this image is right for you. Otherwise, you've got a black wall with what looks like a white smudge running down it. This is my SECOND wall mural. My first was purchased 02.2019 and it was Hot Memory 3D Vintage Embossed Stone Brick Effect Vinyl Wallpaper for Bedroom Living Room TV Background Home Decor HTWB0024. It was stone wall paper that I had to use wall paper paste on (live and learn, this time I got self-adhesive). Until I started 'staging' this paper (I always hang it for a few days with painters tape to see if I'll like it BEFORE I stick it to the wall), I had no idea that these papers could come with NUMBERED GUIDES, CUTTING LINES, AND DIRECTIONAL ARROWS to help place the paper properly!! Imagine hanging a continuous run of stone paper with no guides, no marks or anything to tell you if you're hanging it right! Took me HOURS TO JUST STAGE IT! OMG!!! It would've saved soooooooo much time and sooo much headache powder had the previous paper, Hot Memory 3D Vintage Embossed Stone Brick Effect Vinyl Wallpaper for Bedroom Living Room TV Background Home Decor HTWB0024, come with NUMBERED GUIDES, CUTTING LINES, AND DIRECTIONAL ARROWS!!! See my review on this paper as I'm going back into edit it now. THIS wall mural image had NUMBERED GUIDES, CUTTING LINES, AND DIRECTIONAL ARROWS at the end and start of each strip of the mural - BRILLIANT!! For THAT alone I gave it 5 stars, would've given it more if I could've because of the headache I had with the stone wall paper I know what its like to have no clue what you're doing and still wanting it to come out right. Alas, the paper has been 'staged' for 48 hours and I now know I do not want to hang it in my hallway. ... show more

This comes on a single roll. This isn't really an issue, but I was surprised to find that the top and bottom alternated on the roll. I had to trim the top and bottom, and this almost caused a big problem. I caught it just in time. I thought this would be awesome to cover a living room wall ( like the pictures ). Not the case, it is still pretty cool, but I really wish I had gone smaller. I covered about 80-85% of my wall, I should have gone with 40-50%. I even put a frame around it to give it depth and protection. But, at that size, you can see all the imperfections, and it is far more difficult to hang properly. Many years ago, I created vinyl signs professionally. It is always a 2-person job. Unfortunately, I don't know anyone, I trust, to help, so I did this myself. This caused un-even overlapping. I was able to keep it within a 1/2 inch at all times, and it is barely noticeable, but there are a couple of spots of the water that are disappointing. Also, if there are any bumps or other texture issues with your wall, sand it down! The trees at the top hide seems and bumps pretty well, but the water accents them. ... show more

This was the best mural I could have ever done it was very easy to install I love how I was able to overlap to get it even on the wall I did it all by myself it was just like putting wall paper up I’m glad the seller made it in 6 large sheets that made it easy for me to install. I LOVE IT !!!!

As the reviews said, it can be painstaking to put up but is worth the work. I got an extra larger size because I wanted it to go onto the next wall; so I had to cut off the ends (all water) to make it fit, which did add some extra work, but it comes on a continuous roll so you do have to be careful cutting it off anyway. My walls are pretty textured and it still looks fine. There were a couple spots on the waterfall line where, if you looked, you could see the difference, but I just got a colored penciled and colored that tiny area, and it looks seamless. To go onto the next wall at the corner, I cut it so there was only a one inch seam going over, which made it easier to work with in smoothing it out onto the next wall. Pros: The material is thin which is great if you’re installing by yourself. The adhesive is easy to remove and holds well against the wall, which is great if you need to adjust throughout. Comes in full roll and has parts, vertically, you can cut to make it easier to install Con: Since it’s thin compared to other materials, avoid smoothing out over the same area because you will be tears. I used the edge of a notebook back, nothing too sharp. Slight overlap with vertical parts and takes extra time to straighten to avoid bubbles. Tips: Cut the parts into horizontal sections as well. Limits the bubbles and easier to align. It’ll take longer but better results. ... show more
