These pretty little soup plates are all I eat off of these days. They are a bit bigger than a luncheon plate, but smaller than a dinner plate, and the curved edges keep food trapped where it belongs. Neither carrot stick, nor noodle, nor bit of scrambled egg will fall of the edge. TPTB tell us that eating from a smaller plate helps to keep portion size down while avoiding "part of my plate is empty" FOMO. So far, I believe them. The plates are pretty and have handled well in microwave, sink, and dishwasher. These bowls are very, very pretty, very girly very bright and expensive looking, but they're just not very deep at all. I would've liked to of been a little bit deeper as I purchased them for large portions of pasta and sauce with other things which I might still be able to use it for that but just not as large a portions.
