I purchased this for my 3 year old grandson who loves anything with wheels, lights and sounds. This car doesn’t disappoint! He was all smiles from the minute we took it out of the box! The car has weight and substance to it. It’s not cheap or easily breakable plastic. I like that it came with batteries. The clear body allows you to see the gears moving and the lights are wonderful! The music is loud and can’t be turned down or turned off but it’s a catchy tune so it wasn’t a problem. The car doesn’t move very fast but I love that it backs itself up or changes direction on its own when it encounters a wall or other obstacles. Well worth the price! ... show more

I brought this to work with my speech patients and they all thought it was cool. I like the way it can drive around the table and most of the time it reverses before it falls off. The little multi colored gears are fascinating . Drawback: the music, while fun initially, gets really grating listening to it all day and there’s no way to turn it down. It was too loud for a few of my sound-sensitive patients, and me too after listening to it for an hour or so. Overall : good value for the money. Oh and I brought it home for my dogs to see it. It scared my Pittie and my two Shih Tzus kept barking at it. My GSD Border Collie mix thought it was fun though! ... show more

This car is pretty cool. The lights play and the gears move. All three of my nephews enjoyed playing with it even though it was a gift for the youngest. I didn't realize it played music when I bought it, and the music is pretty loud. In fact, I can hear the music playing in my head now and I haven't been near the car for two days. The only movement I saw was on carpet or the couch so I don't know how well it moves. It doesn't move very well on cloth surfaces but that's expected of any car. I only wish I had caught it in a flash sale (I saw one for $13-14) instead of paying $20-25. The lower price would have made up for the extra star. I can't speak to durability as my nephews have only had the toy since Christmas. ... show more

This car exceeded my expectations. It's sturdy, bright, moves without getting stuck and its 4 year old owner is enthralled. The music is very nice, a pleasant change from most toys but there is no off or volume control switch for just the sound and it is a little louder than I'd like, but not too bad. We will definitely be giving a few of these as gifts in the near future. ... show more

Cute idea, cute car, then you turn it on and it plays the same 3 songs loudly on repeat for eternity. I just need to warn other parents because it’s terrible. This will hopefully get taken to a grandparents house and disappear forever.

    • Grandson Tested!
Our 20 month old grandson has a "thing" about cars and trucks. Well, this is now his FAVORITE. It is filled with stimulation. The lights, the movement and the sound are all perfect for the youngster in your life that has a "thing" for cars. For the "education minded" it has numbers and letters that go in circles. It stood up to some tough testing. It was dropped from 24 inches multiple times with no damage. It was also pushed on the floor against it's gears, and it stood the test. One note of warning. It is loud, and there is no way to turn down the volume. THAT IS NOT A CONCERN AT ALL for LITTLE PEOPLE. There is a way to light up the car without the sound, but good luck with convincing a little boy that this is acceptable. That is like a grown man being told that he can't go beyond second gear with his Porsche. My recommendation as a grandparent is that this IS the perfect gift for grandchildren to go home to their parents house with. (OK. In our case that has a little Karma to it.) ... show more
