These are great! They shipped quickly and well packaged and the precut boards made the process very easy. The hardest part will be measuring and keeping your slats level and straight. This took a little more time and patience than I was anticipating but overall the process was very simple. Keep in mind, unless your room has these exact measurements, you will have to cut the boards. I also reconfigured mine and used putty to fill the gaps before painting over them. I am very pleased with the character it added to the room and I would purchase them again.

Nice wall moulding and I think it did turn out nice. HOWEVER - it was a PAIN getting the pieces to stick together perfectly. If I ever do wall moulding again, I would buy the moulding where all the rectangles/squares would come already attached together. I took one star off because the one piece of moulding had a drip in the material. (Picture). Looked like a paint drip, but it was actually the moulding. It couldn’t be sanded down. (I tried!) If no one looks real close, you don’t notice it. Side note- when figuring your measurements, don’t forget the height of your base boards! I figured on eight foot walls and then did the measurements on paper first using that. So the spacing between the ceiling on top and then the baseboards at the bottom is not even. Not to sound stupid (please don’t judge!), I just didn’t think of it! 🤦♀️ Once I put my desk in the room it shouldn’t be noticeable. This was my first time doing this myself.

The cuts on this kit are very nice and accurate making the installation easier. Once you get the 1st piece leveled, the rest install easily if you get the sharp ninety. I didnt use a speed square or the cardboard 90 provided. The size is decent allowing me to cover my wall with some spacing. No tape on this so the options are either glue to finishing nailer. I went with the nailer option which make the install go faster. Took about 4 hours from start to finish which includes filling nail holes and then caulking the trim where it meets the wall. The final look is really good. I havent painted it yet so more to come. The trim a lone would have cost more than the kit.

This project worked out amazingly. The instructions to use glue are a mistake. Don’t do that. Use strong two-sided tape. Strong.

This is my first time doing a DIY project. I found these so easy to use. I thought I would paint over them but I ended up liking the contrast of the white. I used caulk around the edges just because my walls aren’t even and to fill the gaps. Caulk is a learning curve 😂. I learned my floors slope a little. But most important is that they line up to the ceiling. Used Gorilla Glue as didn’t want to damage with nails. Over all a great product.

Product is fairly easy to trim/cut. I lightly sanded the wainscoting slats just to help the paint adhere to them because the slats are very smooth and shiny. Haven’t painted them yet as the photo shows. I used paintable caulk to fill in any gaps between wall and slats. I used a different configuration than the instructions suggested as seen in my photo. This is more of what I had in mind when I ordered the panel kit. But FYI, not all of the smaller slats are the same length. A few are at least 1/8-1/4” shorter than the others. The slats are lightweight and easy for one person to handle and apply. I used a heavy duty adhesive and taped the slats in position and left them overnight to dry. Only time will tell about their durability but I hope they do stand up to the test of time.
