Smooth, color goes down evenly on paper, very little streaking where strokes overlap. Good range of colors, from bright neon to subtle earth tones. The pens themselves are slightly square shape, so they lay down flat in a row, and the lids snap on tight. None of my pens arrived dried-out, both tips are good. The ink has no odor, no chemical smell. The cap colors are very close to the ink color. I made a color chart and assigned each one with a number for my own reference, then wrote the number on each pen with a white Gelly Roll pen. (This enables me to finish projects with the exact same color, without guessing.) The case is a rare thing of beauty, engineered so well. I was an art director at ad agencies for 35 years, so I know a good marker when I see it. As soon as I tried out these markers, I ordered a second set of them! These markers are perfect! There are so many to choose from, and plenty shades of each color (I used each on a project and it looks as if they're all fading into each other). I love that they're dual tip, this makes it easy for detailed artwork. And all for an amazing price!!! Buy these markers.

    • Just as good as my Tombows
The quality of these is almost indistinguishable from my Tombow markers. The only difference may be the size of the pen on the back but I don't use those as often so it's not important to me. I will say, one of the markers did come broken and the cap is stuck to the brush pen, but for the price I'm not too upset. There aren't any color names on the markers so to keep track of them I just used a posco pen in white to give them all number labels and I actually preferred that to color names I probably won't remember. There is also a pocket on the inside of the case that I use to store my color reference sheet that I made ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Seriously, you can't beat the price. These markers are great! I'm not an artist or anything, I make cards and I got them to color some details here and there. This kit has a good variety of colors. I haven't tested them all, but so far so good. They are mostly true to the color the caps have. The case is very nice and well made.
