Washed/dried this right away and it came out both super fluffy, soft and fluffy. The kind of blanket you want to cuddle with all day. This is a great cover. It is lightweight but it is very warm. I'm not sure if It is supposed to be warm but it is almost to hot at night. I keep my temperature at 68degrees. It was good right out of the box but I tossed it in the dryer for about 5 minutes on low heat just to let it puff up a bit and it was perfect. She raved about it.
