I like this water dispenser. Comments made in reviews have easy remedies! Do not tighten the lid as it creates a vacuum and the water doesn't flow. Leave it loose. Any water dispenser will have this vacuum issue. Drilling a hole in the top cover is not necessary and is unsanitary. The container itself is thin compared to water bottle delivery companies. The price is right. I fill with drinking water refilled at water dispensers with my reuseable gallon jugs and then fill this unit. It never leaves my counter top. No issue with breakage. If you do take it to a water dispenser to fill, it will break as it is really not for this purpose. The spigot did drip slightly when I first filled it, as I was watching for this. Plumbers use plumbers tape for this reason. It is not a design flaw! I liked mine so much, I ordered another for my bathroom to dispense drinking water, too. I may buy another for the other end of my home for convienence.

Second time ordering this! The first one was purchased 6 years ago and the only reason I bought another one today is because I dropped it, full of water and the container broke! I love the thin slender size and it fits nicely in my fridge. I have 2 of these so there is always chilled drinking water! I highly recommend this for anyone who likes to drink chilled water. This doesn't take much room in the fridge.

I contacted the manufacturer directly instead of using the review process, which is where I am at now. It has a flaw when the two pieces are joined together; it was not aligned correctly. The top filling cap leaked when set on the side and the dispenser attachment leaked. Using a lot of Teflon tape, I stopped the dispenser from leaking, only to find that it also had a slow drip from the dispenser outlet. I replaced the dispenser with one I had from a unit I broke by accident, which solved that problem. I used the contact manufacturer option and got an automated reply. I simply spelled out my findings on what had gone wrong and suggested they simply replace the unit without sending the defective one back. Amazon sent a quick survey on how I did contacting the manufacturer. I replied to that, showing only the automated response. I am still within the return window and can take that option, but it does not fix the product. I am a wait-and-see at this point but still have the option to get my money back. l Let me add information and advice. The manufacturer never contacted me so it got boxed up and returned to Amazon using their return policy. The one I have and just ordered a 2nd one is https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0FCCGWCZZ?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title&th=1 The only reason I ordered the Arrow was that it was a little larger and handled all my water from a distiller I use

These aren't too bad. They're thinner than they look, but pretty tough. I filled them with various flavors of iced tea. The gaskets aren't the greatest so there are some leaks. I put some Teflon tape around the threads. You may need to set them next to something to keep them from easily tipping. They fit great in the fridge though. The fun part comes when you try to clean them, which is the only reason I'm leaving a review: I have three, so I became a master but the end. The trick is to take the entire spigot apart so you can save yourself from any potential mold. Use a pipe cleaner. No bottle cleaner is going to reach all the way inside, so you have to get creative. I put a little soap inside, filled 1/3 with water and shook in every direction. If you have trouble getting it 100% clean, you can add 1/4 cup of coarse salt and it'll do the trick. To clean all the soap out, the sink gun fits right in the large opening. Spray away and set on an angle to drip dry.

The container seems sturdy and should last. Dispenser spout works as it should. First item came without the cap, returned it and ordered another that arrived quickly.would recommend.

1st container we received was damaged on arrival. Returned it and reordered another which arrived in good shape in spite of being shipped in an Amazon shipping bag. This is a replacement for one we had which lasted for over 5 years. It is perfect for our needs.

I purchased the first 1.25 gallon container because we have had very good experience with the larger 2 gallon version. The first 1.25 gallon one leaked between the spigot and the container so we sent it back for a new one. The second one arrived and it also leaked between the spigot and the container. Because this was the second 1.25 gal that leak I did some investigation and discovered the container seal to the spigot wasn't true and square. I straitened the container with a 1000 grit diamond stone and it corrected the defect, and it now seals. Since this was the second container I suspect this is a theme at tihis time with the containers.
