  • Rocket basher!
Color: Blue
This thing is an insane amount of fun! Can't speak on durability yet, plenty of YT reviews for after a span of time, but it is so fast on a 4s battery it's exhilarating. This is the V2 (not the V2.5 which has great upgrades). I had contemplated getting the V2.5 but once I found out the battery tray was much shorter due to the upgraded diff, I decided to go with the V2 to keep my battery options larger. Battery and charger is sold separately. Running a 100c 4s 8000mah EC5 connector lipo from ovonic and it'll fit perfectly once you remove the battery thumb lever. I've just been running it (no jumping or tricks yet) around to get a feel for it. Tested speed limiters (50% is still extremely powerful so consider that if buying for a child), servo is responsive, trans/gears distribute power well, has great range, no whining like some have reported, controller sync can be tricky (car on then controller on, opposite for powerdown), etc. Takeoff is so powerful, if you full throttle it, it'll try to flip backwards (a redesigned/modded wheelie bar is probably a good idea at least at first to prevent it). So easy to wheelie and itll try to jump anything it drives over. Great tires, looks great. If you want to preserve your body longer, I suggest reinforcement (shoo-goo and gorilla tape hair dried is the most common practices). The ESC is a smart module so if you get a spektrum smart battery and smart controller (like the DX5 or DX5C) it will transmit telemetry to the remote (battery, speed, etc saving extra costs of sensors). For the price, $450 on Jan 19 2024, this is a great amount of fun. I've told all my friends that might be interested in the hobby. ... show more

  • Epicness
Color: Red
This truck is epic! Very durable and fast. Needs a few tweaks such as strengthening the weak steering by replacing the spring in the servo saver with a stronger spring from the Kimbrough servo saver. I would also recommend having extra shock rod ends on hand as they seem to be a breaking point on hard impacts. Also the center differential could use some thicker fluid. I went with 20 mil but might try something lighter to avoid uncontrollable wheelies. Other than that you will not be disappointed with this truck! The handling is top notch and my favorite part is the stable wheelies you can pop anytime you want on literally any surface! ... show more

  • hidden gem
Color: Blue
this model and size seems to be a bit overlooked, between all the 3s & 6s/8s stuff. having literally tried all of them, this has been the the best of all of them. 1. not too big and heavy to be dangerous or go out of control and get destroyed immediately. 2. really fast on 3s (rides constant wheelies) and overbuilt for that power level since it can run 4s. 50% power on 4s is the safe edge of control. so there is still lots of room for the ridiculous. as opposed to the running 4s on primarily 3s rigs- it burns them out. 3. super side stability, will not flip on the side, which is an amazing feat in itself. 4. it is really the only basher out there that hasn't either required constant break-fix or has no stability whatsoever. 5. the wheelie bar is too small- it kept flipping on its back under acceleration- so I put the one from my ka1ju on it. now it's perfect. for the extra 130-ish bucks over the good 3s models you get a lot less trouble and a lot more fun. definitely dial down the power if this is your first r/c. so glad I tried this one out. ... show more

  • Good truck
Color: Gunmetal
Awesome truck. It's my wife's favorite because she can just truly bash and have a great time. Pulls flips easily. I like the truck a lot as well and rip it often. Tank of a truck. My biggest con is that this gets HOT! Servo and servo saver are weak and sloppy. Upgraded servo and servo help but does not cure the problem. Will be adding hobbywing ezrun 3665 2400kv because of the heat issues. My ESC lags randomly. Tried different reciever/transmitter and still had same issue. ... show more

  • My favorite basher there is. If you wanna wheelie and flip you need an Outcast
Color: Gunmetal
I love the outcast in every size. You can't have a bad time bashing an outcast. Very durable. If you break it it's because you messed up bad. Wheelies and flips for days.

  • Most durable? Nope
Color: Blue
I got this truck because i heard the awesome things about it, and it looks nice... out of the box first 5 minutes were great just taking it easy at 50 - 75% . Then issues start happening. 2 rear axles shredded . that threw me off, never had an rc break so fast. after inspecting it seemed like the axles werent pushed in all the way in to the diff and shredded the inner driveshafts... i now had to get 2 new shafts , fast forward to getting it fixed up. Playing for 10 minutes and i hear grinding from my front diffs when i hit reverse, now i have to purchase another expensive part, keep in mind this rc already cost 500$ and only played it for under 20 minutes total. My experience with this truck wasnt great. Debating if its worth to fix it. ... show more
