Great value for such a quality part. I was surprised by how beefy this Mues driveshaft is. It has some good weight to it. The driveshaft is made with steel. U-joints are beefy and held in with steel c-clips. The outdrives are extra thick and look very strong. Kit comes with your driveshaft, 2 pin style grub screws and a nice sticker sheet. For the price I think these driveshafts are worth trying.

Weighing in at just 42 grams, this driveshaft adds beneficial low-end weight to your setup. While a heavier driveshaft means the motor needs to work a bit harder due to increased inertial mass (leading to some power train loss), the trade-off is superior metal durability. This specific upgrade will significantly reinforce one section of your drivetrain. Because your drivetrain will always fail at its weakest point, installing this much stronger part ensures it will withstand abuse considerably longer than the original plastic piece. Important Note: The driveshaft doesn't slide freely on the splines. The initial 30% of its travel is smooth, but the remaining 70% is extremely tight, meaning it will need to be sanded for smooth operation. Additionally, they are slightly out of phase.

Expertly machined polished steel drive shaft for 1/10 scale RC crawlers. In my many years of experience in the RC crawler, basher, speed run, all things RC hobby the name “MEUS Racing products” has become to be known as nothing but the best in high quality, performance oriented upgrade parts for RC crawlers. This drive shaft has a nice shiny finish over the complete part including the universal joints. This unit is magnitudes stronger than the OEM shaft and should last a lifetime. MEUS may be a little more expensive than some other brands but, you can rest assured that it will be the last drive shaft you’ll ever need to purchase for your SCX10.

Goes well for my project that I am building. The quality is there and feels durable and strong. The shaft is also adjustable in length, so it's very useful in case I want to adjust something down the line with my project. For the price I can say it's good. It's an affordable piece that just works out of the package if you considered the fitment of your build.

Straightforward install. Fit was perfect on my TRX4 and SCX10 builds. The shafts feel strong, no slop or play. You’ll want to hit the set screws with Loctite, but that’s standard stuff.
