Don't let the other reviews ruin this truck for you. It's a granite, with a center diff. It's plenty fast and backflips super easy. The esc is a 2 in 1 yes, but speed runs with a granite is going to lvc and overheat a monster truck. It's not for speed, it's for bashing. Arrma tough, get one and bash.

Excellent RC truck! It bashes with the best of em and hasn't batted an eye. I know some people say the 2n1 system has issues with LVC but thankfully I've never experienced it. The Granite is great for those who are just entering the hobby and has some extra money to spend. Its great for beginners using 2s batteries, for kids please have adult supervision, 3s batteries are where this RC really shines. I highly recommend doing your research before you buy but I can 100% recommend this RC truck.

Solid and fast. Takes a lot of abuse and is very durable. Well built and fun. I’m using 3S batteries. Handles grass well.

The tires on these new 3S Granites appear to be defective -- my fronts both shredded less than ten minutes after taking it out of the box. Look around you'll find other postings online showing the same thing -- I wish I had done this before buying the truck. I contacted Arrma support who denied any warranty claim, saying the consider tires a consumable and won't warranty them regardless of the miles. On my first day our with the new 223S my crew brought a half dozen other RCs out to the field to bash, including a V4 BLX 3S Granite which I then went on to drive for hours on the same day without issue. I replaced the tires with aftermarket tires and havent had any tire issue after a few hours of driving time, but it was money I didnt expect to and was not happy having to spend on top of the new truck. If you get one of these new models plan on having a healthy tire budget, and know that the company won't have your back if things fail within minutes. Might be worth taking a look at what the competition has to offer, or just stick with your V3 BLX until they can prove these things are more durable.
