As my first foray into more enthusiast grade RC, the Gorgon has been a phenomenal choice. Runs great in stock form. Have been running it regularly for a couple months now, and have had no breakages or issues so far. Very sturdy and user friendly. Very quick at 100% power, and big enough to handle most terrain (found it doesn't like tall grass much though). Completely undettered by big jumps, tumbles, and rough landings. Overall an excellent basher. Only negative is the battery. The stock NiCad it comes with is worthless and will only give you 5-10 minutes of run time. Invest in some good 2S Lipo batteries right away. Otherwise whole heartedly recommend! ... show more

If you want to bash, no better brand than Arrma and the Gorgon is the perfect entry vehicle to get started with. It rips with the stock setup. Find some ramps and tear this thing up! So much fun to bash, I bought three of these (yellow, red and blue) so two of my sons can bash together in the track at the same time. Super fun, Gorgon will not disappoint! Highly recommend buying a 2s lipo 7200 mah (ec3 connector) with a high c rating for super long run times with consistent punch. Also a 40mm fan and cover go well with this truck to keep the stock brushed motor cool for longer life and longer run times (it plugs directly into the fan port on the stock ESC for power). If this is your first RC truck, you will have to pair the remote with the truck the first time. Super easy, watch a YouTube video if the instruction manual isn't clear enough, but it should be. Also make sure to switch the pin on the controller (ESC) from its stock position from Nimh to lipo before upgrading to a 2s battery. This thing is fast. It jumps, cartwheels, flips and rolls and just keeps on going. This is my favorite basher out of my collection and super fun to just keep stock and tear it up. Gorgon's mega air is a crowd pleaser for sure. Best basher for the price and she won't disappoint. Even when you're ready to move up to faster brushless vehicles, you will still appreciate Gorgon in your collection and find yourself breaking it out from time to time because she is just made for freestyle. ... show more

Motor failed after < 5 uses; after reading reviews, it seems plagued with this issue. People utilize the warranty for new motors until it expires, however, when I reached out it's on backorder. Arrma stated in an email to me this "model is not designed for use with a Brushless system, and we do not offer any optional motors for this model." Seems they are open to a lawsuit, as claiming the following, while it set to fail quickly. This is an awesome truck - wouldn’t recommend for kids under 6 or 7. It is fast and the videos online don’t do it justice. Good quality build and seems durable. The only thing I don’t like is the battery life - it’s so much fun to drive but on a full charge (3+ hours charge time) it only lasts about 15 minutes. So be ready to purchase more batteries. I bought a 5000mah battery to test the time on that. Will update when I get a full charge. ... show more

The Arrma Gorgon is the perfect entry level RC for anyone looking to move up from cheap toy-grade RC cars that you find at all the major big retailers without having to enter the hobby grade price range that typically has a $400-$500+ entry point. For a starter basher it's pretty fast at 24mph and it's very easy to repair and upgrade for those with little to no knowledge of RC cars. Highly durable and built with quality parts. Well, I got my Gorgon too charge the battery cut. It already turned it on and had a blast. It needs a little work on the suspension and the tires but it is fun so far and it’s fast. I plan on doing any upgrades. It’s OK in my book for a beginner.

Very tough and comes with everything to get started in 1/10 scale r/c. I have been in the r/c hobby for over 30 years. I've done the brushless high speed run cars and trucks, drift cars, nitro truggys, crawlers, sprint cars, bashers and buggys from futaba fx-10's to losi 8ights. I wanted something I could slap a battery in and go without worrying about demolishing it on a curb doing speed runs and could run it in the grass and rough terrain as well. For the price, this gorgon cant be beat. Upgrading and tuning is a fun part of the hobby, but I wanted this specifically for its stock configuration to grab and go. Has a lot of torque and looks more like a 1/8 scale size truck. Looking forward to getting the purple one for my Wife. We each have scx24's so we gotta have another gorgon for her too! ... show more
