A bit disappointed in these sleeves. I bought the 4 pack garden collection (flowers,etc.). Maybe better for outdoor work as they are not the usual super soft and form fitting material like the regular Armoray sleeves I love so much and can wear all day long. The upper arm stitching on these is a little thicker, kinda scratchy, and tighter, and really started to bug me in a short amount of time. I don’t have large arms either. The material is thicker overall than the straight color cooling sleeves. They do seem well constructed though, stay in place and look good on. I bought another brand and they were truly awful, with cheap material and a seam running the whole length of the sleeve, so I only took off one star because I appreciate the many Armoray sleeves I own and how well they work. You can wear these with the thumb hole or not and still look good. Hoping a few washings will help with the feel. ... show more

    • Comfy and durable leisure type sleeve

I wear these at work 5 days a week to cover up my tattoo arm sleeve when I am in short sleeve uniform...I wash them inside out and air dry with about 3 seasons of wear on them so far and the fading is minimal and no holes, rips, stitching issues from leisure, non-contact wear...they are comfortable, stretch well without feeling binding, yet do not leave marks on my upper arm when I remove them while also holding up fine and with no concerns of slippage (unlike my polyester type sleeves that you could wear playing sports and would be far more durable but also have that tacky no-slip rubber band that I find annoying and leave skin indentations bordering on a rash when you remove them)...while I wouldn't recommend these for contact sports such as turf/grass protection or preventing elbow burns from wrestling by any means, they are my go-to as a coverup for administrative/dinner/casual/non-physical arm sleeve wraps and to me far more comfortable and breathable than the more durable sports-style sleeves. ... show more

I had purchased these a few months ago and they worked perfectly for a trip. I had a tattoo appointment set up since the beginning of this year for late July and didn't want to reschedule, and a trip only a few days after that. I knew I needed something and these were the answer. They cover up to my wrist and are very long. Sometimes they would bunch up (I have a bit of shorter arms than others) but otherwise for perfectly and comfortably. They can roll down a bit but I never had them go past my sleeve. I will say if you are using them for tattoos and they are newer, make sure you're mosturizing still as these can affect that. They did what they said they would and that was keep my arms cool, even in the hotter weather down in D.C. Very helpful and no infection from a sunburn! ... show more

I had a new session done on my tattoo sleeve like 2 days before a trip to Florida for some beach time and then some theme park time. Both destinations meant a lot of time in the sun and fresh tattoos need really thorough protection from UV rays. These sleeves are perfect. They breathe and wick sweat, meaning that they remain comfortable even in a hot environment, and claim to provide 50+SPF. I’m very pale and my sleeve throughly protected my arm from the sun. I got the galaxy purple one because I’m a sci-fi nerd but the colors were significantly lighter than what the product photos depict here. It’s definitely more of a lavender than imperial purple, if that matters to you. Ultimately, a set of these sleeves is a very affordable yet wise investment for a new tattoo or even if you just hate wearing sunblock but don’t want your arms to get roasted. ... show more
