I have needed a media stand for a long time...and didn't know it. I have an older model 6 disc changer and a heavy, biggish Bose speaker. The CD changer is 17inches by 17 inches and about 6 inches tall. The speaker is 16x14x12 and weighs at least 30 lbs. I have had this equipment for several years. I love the way they work. They were also pricey. So I'm not at all interested in changing them out for something else. I also have been trying to makeshift shelving for years. And it never worked out to my satisfaction. Thus began the search. There are a lot of them on Amazon. I needed to make sure I found one that would hold the size and weight of my components. Many look alike, but the dimensions vary greatly. I found this one. I was a little hesitant to pay about 100.00 including tax. Turns out this thing is worth it. It is very sturdy. The wood, although the engineered type is thick. The design and machining work is thought out and acurate. The trapazoid shape adds a stability to the over all structure and has a chill vibe. As does the led lighting. Which I didn't think I'd care for until I tried them. Love the attached power strip. Manages cords well. Only need to use one wall outlet for two devices. This is a simple straight forward assembly. However the some of the hardware is mislabeled but the instructions with big illustrations gets you past that with no problem. I am very pleased with this purchase and would definately recommend it.

If they allowed 1/2 stars, I would give this stand 4 1/2, but it's not good enough for 5. When assembling the stand, there are a few places where you think to yourself -- if they had spent another few dollars on parts it would have been way nicer. The diagonal risers are screwed together with a small plate that you insert. If this plate had been wide enough to fill the full track and bolted from both sides it would have been way more sturdy. So a few of the assembled pieces look slightly out of place and not perfectly straight. Even with these nuances, the stand when complete is fairly sturdy and looks OK. It seems to be worth the money and the LED lighting is a nice touch.

Love this stand and it easily fit my larger stereo components. Was easy to put together and the wood veneer looks great. Pretty heavy duty and the power strip is quite handy. The LEDs can be programmed to the music much like the old color organs

Extremely solid without any wobbles. Assembly was a breeze. Well packaged! Plenty of space (see photo). The fact that it comes with LED light and power outlets built in is a huge plus for me just to keep all the wiring neat and clean without the need for extension wire! Well worth the price tag!
