I took a gamble on these. Never owned a Chelsea style boot before. I bought them for a wedding. Out of the box they looked big (long in the foot). I was not expecting them to be as comfortable as they were. i had them on for six hours and barely noticed they were on my feet. I have worn them multiple times since, and they feel more like slippers than formal footwear. The fact that you can leave them laced and simply slide your foot in and out is a big plus. These are definitely amongst my best footwear purchases ever!

The shoes started to break in nicely within a day of wearing them. The leather seems decent quality. I had to leave the laces a little loose at first, till I got the ankle a bit more loose, but now tightening back up. All around pretty comfortable for a dress boot.

I wanted something a little more formal while still being considered casual. These are perfect! They look great with jeans and they also look great with a pair of Khakis. They get the job done but do NOT look anything like the pictures. The pictures show shading adding character to the shoes. Unfortunately they don't have any shading whatsoever and just look like plain shiny shoes.
