Description

The ARIES 3" bull bar is made for those who face the uncertain road without fear. This particular model is constructed from strong carbon steel and finished in a durable E-coat and semi-gloss black powder coat finish to outlast rust and the elements. Other available finishes include high-gloss black stainless steel, polished stainless steel and textured black steel. Customizing the look of your vehicle is simple with the ARIES 3" bull bar. It is equipped with pre-drilled light mounting holes and a removable skid plate. The center crossbar features two pre-drilled holes that readily accept an LED light bar or two LED work lights. The skid plate is made from 304 stainless steel and has a brushed finish to stop rust and hide scratches and scuffs. It also features an aggressive, ARIES-exclusive cutout pattern and can be removed for a customized look. Each ARIES 3" bull bar is made a vehicle-specific design, meaning that for each make and model, the bull bar has a custom bend and unique mounting brackets. This allows for the best possible fit on your vehicle and ensures solid attachment. The brackets also use pre-existing factory holes in the vehicle's frame to eliminate drilling, speed up installation and increase rigidity. This bull bar fits select model years of the Jeep Commander and Jeep Grand Cherokee (see application info to verify fitment).

Great product. Fits perfectly on my 2006 Jeep Commander and sits higher than the Westin or Topline giving the illusion that the 3 inch bars flow out from the bumper. The lower hanging brands look like a snowplow to me and appear to "hang" off the front of the vehicle while also taking away ground clearance. Install tips - Assemble all pieces very loosely before mounting, you will need to be able to move the brackets around to get them in place on the vehicle. No drilling or altering required but you will definitely need an extra pair of hands to help when mounting, it fits so exact that it was a little tricky to line up the bolt holes and then thread through without cross threading. Totally worth the effort though. I read 1 review that said it was easily mounted by 1 person... definitely not the case with my vehicle application. ... show more

Nice bar, looks great, got a dent during shipping and one bracket was bent but the hubby managed to get it on still with some ingenuity. Would have been a 4-5* item has it not been ordered twice and then damaged. The holes for the light bar are too close together for my light so drilling will need to be done, description would be better if the width was noted. ... show more
