Ariat did their thing with these kicks!!! These are by far the most comfortable western style boots I’ve ever worn. From day one they’ve been super comfy and cozy. No breaking in required. Y’all! When I first saw these boots as I specifically searched for Ariat boots, I thought the cactus 🌵 print was a bit cheesy. But I do love to be different from everyone else, so I kept coming back to them. I knew that Ariat boots were excellent quality, and the price on these on Amazon is half of what they would be on the actual Ariat site. So I decided to take a gamble and order them. I’m so glad that I did! In person, they are not cheesy whatsoever and I absolutely love the color of the cactus print! My husband and I are perhaps going to be retiring to Phoenix in the next few years, so these will be perfect in that location! The leather is somewhat stiff, but like all leather products they just need to be broken in. I bought these in my usual size 7 1/2 and they fit great for me! ... show more

First I didn't take the reviews too seriously and I wish I had. But glad I didn't listen either. First I have a thin perfect size 9 foot. These are so small I can't get my foot in them. I am using a boot stretching foot and spray to even try to get my foot inside. The shift that meets the lower boot is funky. I wish i ordered 1/2 to one size bigger. I will say though these are cute as hell. The quality is beautiful. I will continue to do whatever I can to get these to work for me. ... show more

Absolutely abhorrent quality for the price!!! I returned them the same day I received them. The gold must be painted on the leather, as it comes right off. My pair was covered in scratches on the gold, and the paint was rolling up and flaking off. The boots were super wide, and the non gold leather was a design painted onto the leather. That was also scratched and scuffed. The boots are described as "rustic", but they just look super cheap and scuffed/scratched. For $200, I expect a much higher standard of quality. I wouldn't pay over $30 for these boots. I have 3 pairs of Ariat shoes and up until this pair I was very pleased with their quality. I really wanted to like these, but that is a heck no from me. Style is great. Not the most comfortable shoes but I didn’t really buy them for comfort. Not slip resistant by any means. I feel like the sale price was a fair price but I wouldn’t pay the full $219 for these. Do not buy these if you have wide feet, they are tight so I would size up
