First I didn't take the reviews too seriously and I wish I had. But glad I didn't listen either. First I have a thin perfect size 9 foot. These are so small I can't get my foot in them. I am using a boot stretching foot and spray to even try to get my foot inside. The shift that meets the lower boot is funky. I wish i ordered 1/2 to one size bigger. Before ordering these boots online, I tried on another pair of Ariat boots at the store to see what size I'd need. 8.5 in another style was a perfect fit, so I decided to order an 8.5 in these boots even though other comments suggest sizing up. Right out of the box, these boots are very snug and they rub my ankles. Hopefully wearing them around the house with two pair of socks will help break them in. These boots are so cute I decided to keep them, but I'd probably order a size 9 next time. I ordered 1/2 size up based on the reviews and the boots are too big. Cowgirl boots a typically hard to get on before they’re broken in. Other than that, they’re super cute and very comfortable. I would say they’re true to size.

I was really excited to get these boots until I opened the box and saw this, before I even tried them on. I bought these under the impression that they were new, not used. I'm still thinking of returning them but other than being previously worn, I really love how they look and feel.
