I have not worn western style boots in a long time now. I had not purchased any Ariat boots before so I did not know what to expect. These were the right price and color option I was looking for. Upon opening the box I found the colors to match the pictures and the size was the fit I was hoping for. I could only assume that 12 wide would be right based on my other work boots. I wore them for about an hour to check the comfort and to break them in a little. I found these boots to be extremely comfortable right out of the box and with no stiffness or rubbing. The leather is beautiful, soft and the finish work of the construction looks great. Good comfortable boots. They walk nicely due to the roper style rubber heel and have a comfortable insole. Love the dark chocolate color and after rubbing some Mink Oil on, they darkened up a little more and look even better.
