True to size, I ordered a half size up so I could wear thick wool socks with them in the winter and they’re perfect. Most comfy boots I own. I wear them every day. I love all my Ariat boots, but these are really the best ones. They do not acquire foot odor. They are durable with the thicker rubber heel. They are great for winter because they have a deep tread. They easily polish back to new. Love them!

    • Love them, but very different from the usual Fat Baby

Love these boots. The sole is a different from the regular Fat Babys. Much bigger with deeper tread - not meant for riding in!! I have always loved Fat Baby by Ariat, but the sole always wears down long before the leather deteriorates. This makes them a terrible slipping hazard, especially when bathing a horse! I bought these BECAUSE of the bulky sole. I'm hoping they outlast the soles on my last two pairs. I wasn't seeking out the bright color, but the price was lowest for the turquoise pair. The color is hella bright, but I don't hate it! My one issue is they are rubbing on my ankles. I love Fat Babys because they never need breaking in, but for whatever reason, these ones need it. I can wear them for barn chores but not for walking, at least not until the leather drops. I can't say enough about how different the sole is. It's more like a working boot. I am really hoping they outlast the usual Fat Baby lifespan. I got about 2 good years out of the ones I'm replacing now, that's with daily use and also having done tons of walking around town (the leather is still great but the soles are as smooth as a baby's bottom). ... show more

I LOVE these boots - It's the second pair I own because they are super comfy and really pretty. I get a lot of compliments about them My only regret is that I can't wear them when it's raining because the sole is flat and therefore too slippery if the ground is wet. I almost fell down many times and fell down a couple of times because the boots were slippery. Beside this, they are awesome. ... show more
