They’re two inch square chrome and I needed them to be matte black to match the door hardware and plumbing fixtures. Found this tape and figured we’d give it a try. honestly i never rate things on amazon, but i have to give this a rating. for how cheap it is, its really good quality. it also held up really well in the rain. the only thing i would say is the blade that comes with it could be a little bit sharper but you're buying the vinyl tape not the blade. i would definitely buy this again.

The product works well I wish the black was just a touch darker over all I like the shine of a non matted version however its ever so slightly a little to much more shine then I wanted. It works really well though and with a bit of practice can be done fairly quickly the first time on each pannel your covering. How is a small segment with the wrap vs the chrome next to it for a comparison.

The media could not be loaded. I purchased and used this in a way that I don’t think most people would consider at first. I bought a new washer and dryer that during delivery and installation, unfortunately got scratched. I was so bummed out that we would have to live with the scratch on our new washer and dryer until I ran across this product. The vinyl strip easily stuck to the washer and blended right in! The strip is mostly matte with a soft sheen which keeps it from looking like electrical tape. The roll had more than enough product so I am saving it just in case another mishap happens to another one of our appliances. Fingers crossed it won’t!

I used this in my 2014 Nissan Rogue (<42,000 miles) - sunroof … I’ve had my drains professionally cleaned and it lasts til the next autumn or pollen season. I’ve been clearing my drains faithfully on a weekly basis for years. This year, no luck. (I used a baby diaper to suck up water under passenger seat … do not ever do this! The diaper was so full of water, it burst & all those little beads were all over my car!!!). So, after many hours (I’m 72 … not easy getting in & out of a sun roof) and no success, I wet vacuumed up the water & chose to permanently tape my sunroof shut (I never use it anyway). I did this ALONE! 4’9-1/2 short & 72 years old with lots of medical issues but DETERMINED … professionally done but they do not last … I taped my roof shut! It’s been weeks of huge downpours & many days of 95+ degrees. Tape working. Praying continues cuz I like my car & it’s the only issue! Update: mid-October with flood in Ocean County, NJ … inside still dry!

The tape has a matte finish and is solid black (no white on the edges), so it works well for covering logos on all sorts of things. It looks like it would work well for the advertised purpose, as well. They should definitely market it for use in covering ugly logos as well, however.
