I needed a washable rug for the entry. These type rugs are new to me. I was worried when the rug came folded in a small box, that the fibers might be crushed at the folds. BUT…It unfolded like a dream and immediately laid practically flat. The rug did not scoot around on the wood floor, and the edges and corners laid flat as well. The surface is dense, smooth, and very soft. Imagine touching a decadent, upholstery fabric that’s somehow a cross between silk, plush velvet and chenille. Can you tell I’m a former home-dec seamstress! The design and rich/semi-muted colors have an upscale vibe, without over-done fussiness. The back has a nonskid surface, and it’s unexplainable, but barely noticeable and effective. Additionally, I bought a very thick waffle/rubber liner to add some heft & cushion. (I cut liners about 2” shorter than the rug on each side, for no tripping hazard.) I had chosen the 3x5’ brown & blue rug to coordinate with an existing, jewel tone runner. Unfortunately, there were some warmer colors, that were just not a good match. I hated to return it…But, I will absolutely be trying to find this rug in more coordinating colors. ... show more

I was surprised that it arrived in a box and it weighed a whole lot lighter and thinner than I had expected. Another surprise is how soft it is. Looks exactly like the picture and arrived as estimated. I am extremely please with the look, the value, and the convenience of front door delivery.

It's a beautiful rug. Doesn't need a rug pad. Very slim and do not move. Has beautiful prints. Matches my interior.

This is more of a mat than a plush carpet - it's super cute and looks great, and stays in place really well with a little bit of rug tape at each corner. The folding marks do fall out pretty quickly, which is nice, and it's fairly sturdy. The edges are the most delicate part and may need some extra attention, just in case, but overall it looks great and feels great on my feet. I ordered this rug for a small area between my kitchen and dining room. For me, having a thin machine, washable rug is super important. With kids and pets and a lot of traffic I like to be able to pop a rug in the machine to wash it on a fairly frequent basis. This rug has stood up to a lot of traffic so far with no damage or wear on the rug or the edging. It has also washed great in my front loader on a cold cycle and hung to dry. For reference, I ordered the orange pattern, which I feel like it's more of a kind of rusty red color with gray and blue accents. It is thin, but soft and has a decent nonslip backing although I do feel like I need to put something a bit sturdier underneath it because of my dogs running around crazy and it does move a bit. Overall though, I definitely give it five stars for looks, quality, durability and price. I am very happy with this rug. ... show more
