This RX 580 8G is looks great with RGB light, even has multi color breathing mode. it performs well for 60FPS in many AAA games, like VALORANT, CS:GO, Witcher 3 and Diablo 4. This RX 580 has ~10% fewer Stream Processors, the part that draws what you see on your screen than other Rx 480/580 cards! That's what the "2048 SP" in the name indicates! How much slower is that? XFX RX 480: 89.2 FPS (2304 SP) Strix RX 480: 90.9 FPS (2304 SP) This RX 580: 78.5 FPS. (2048 SP) Its slower than the OLDER RX 480, because it has fewer 'brains'. I also noticed the memory clock speed was 1750MHz, and at least one of the RX 480s was 2000MHz Overclocking can close the gap, BUT... With a +20% power limit: The RX 480s pulled 120-135 watts and got up to 69-72 degrees Celsius. This Rx 580 pulled 148 watts and got up to 67C. The clock speeds were dropping as the card hit the power limit. With a +50% power limit, 1337 MHz core and 2000MHz memory clock, I got 86.3 FPS, super close to the RX 480 performance, albeit with 186 watts and a 83C temperature. So its slower than an older Rx 480, BUT I did originally start with 6x RX 480s, and only 2 are still working today. So if you're looking for something that will likely still work next year, maybe buying a 'new' card like this of an old model does makes sense instead of a used card. ... show more

I really liked the aesthetics of this card and it ran Fortnite at 100+ FPS on TAA, 100% Render Resolution, Epic Draw Distance and, low or off everything else. However, it constantly crashes, leaves graphical artifacts, flashes black, gives me an error that my graphics card driver crashed, and then repeats literally only seconds later getting stuck in a loop. I've tried the standard Windows driver that it detects and/or updates. I've tried the latest Adrenaline driver, and the latest Pro driver to no avail. I would love for it to just work and not constantly crash. Update: 12:30 AM MST 12/12/2023 The replacement card came in today and would not even boot to Windows. The other card started working after I uninstalled HWInfo. Whenever it would start up it would get stuck on the ATI part before loading to most of the data points/metrics in red for some odd reason. After uninstalling it, the old card starting working. I'm going to return the new card but this experience has been awful and I would not recommend people to buy this card. Avoid the 2048SP variant at all costs. They are cheap and unreliable PRC-produced ewaste. ... show more

This isn't worth 100 might as well go with something even newer for just a little bit more money buying this we'll only end up later having to upgrade anyways definitely go with a ARC A750 for not much more and it be feature proofing something currently not from 2017😆
