Description

Season after season, the 1450 Arctix Women's Insulated Bib Overalls serve as an outstanding value priced snow bib and a versatile cornerstone of the Arctix line. These pants feature a 100% Polyester Dobby shell with ThermaLock W/R + W/P 3000mm Coating, offering a maximum degree of durability and protection from the elements, while allowing a full range of motion. 85 grams ThermaTech Insulation offers warmth in a lightweight, low bulk garment, keeping you warm at temperatures from -20° to +35° depending on your level of activity. DWR finish (Durable Water Repellent) helps repel water from fabric surface. The adjustable comfort suspenders provide the perfect fit with elasticized side gussets for maximum motion. The boot zippers make them easy for on and off access along with boot gaiters with grippers to form a seamless integration with the boots to keep the warmth in, and the moisture out. These relaxed fit pants also include 600 Denier Ballistic reinforced ankle, scuff and hem guards to hold up against daily wear & tear, and conveniently has an O-ring for keys, gloves and/or lift tickets. The pants provide zippered hand warmer style pockets, zippered fly, and belt loops. They are water and wind resistant, and are conveniently machine washable. Sizing options include a Short 29" inseam (5'1" – 5'4" heights), Regular 31" inseam (5'5" – 5'8"), and Tall 33" inseam (5'9" – 6'1").

I am truly not the kind of person that usually leaves reviews. Not because I don’t want to, it’s just because usually if I don’t have something new to add that is helpful and has an already been said in 1000 other reviews I’ll just give it five stars and move on. However, I felt that this time I should take the time and write an actual review. I have horses and feeding in. The winter is miserable when you have to go out at 5:30 in the morning when it’s -3° at times I live where it is very windy all the time And the windchill factor can be brutal. My Ferrier told me about these bibs when I was telling him I did not enjoy riding in the winter because I just could not stay warm. I am mediately looked them up and read the reviews. I was impressed enough to go ahead and order at that price , because I thought well, that’s not too expensive. If they don’t work out, I won’t be out much, well, we have had our first really cold spell this week and those bibs have been a lifesaver, they are so lightweight that I don’t feel like I can barely move like I have in the past when I have ordered some very expensive name brand bibs. Those bibs would also get wet which is very inconvenient and heavy. Like I mentioned before these are so lightweight I can move around in them and they fit perfectly. I went by a few reviews and the size chart I am 5’4 and my weight fluctuates between 135 and 145 right now this time of year I am more at the 145 and they fit fine. They are a little snug in my midsection, but not to the point where I even had trouble zipping them I cannot believe, the quality of this product for that price. I even ordered my husband a pair just yesterday after going on and on about how wonderful they were. He wanted a pair as well. I know he won’t be disappointed, neither will you! so go ahead and buy these bibs I promise you won’t be disappointed. ... show more

I am 5'7", 124 lb., 38-28-35, with a 29"-30" inseam. Ordered a black, medium in the Arctic Women's Essential Insulated Bib Overalls. I probably could have worn a small, but selected the medium due to reviews and sizing suggestions that recommend "going with your largest body part" for selecting size. That would be the chest - however with the bib styling and stretchy shoulder straps, I should have ordered size based on waist/hips. The size medium on my long-body frame is a good fit for the torso and inseam. However the hips are about 4" too big. The design accommodates people who carry their weight in their lower half (derriere and hips). I have not tried the bibs in temps below 40 degrees F, or with tights or long johns underneath. As noted by some reviewers, the front zipper is a big rough on zipping up or down. The color is a true black. The poly lining glides smoothly while moving about and does not bind. The bibs are not heavy and allow for full range of movement. I would order these again...in a smaller size for me. ... show more

LOVE IT!!!!!!! I went to a football game that was cold & rained the entire game. I stayed dry & warm. I’m 5’2” &129 lbs- I bought a Medium Standard. I usually get a short because I’m petite but the other reviews said it’s short in the torso & it is so I’m glad I got the regular size. I wore boots with it and the length comes up perfect. I also wore leggings underneath and a compression shirt with a coat over it. I NEVER GOT COLD OR WET!!! It’s a perfect buy!!! I ordered a regular medium after reading through the reviews, noting that some customers suggested sizing up to have room for movement and layers. I was very surprised to learn how warm these kept me in the snow - I was able to take off my jacket and just have the bibs and a sweatshirt. I'm about 5'4" and the regular length fits well when I add boots. My only complaint is that the bibs are a bit looser than preferred around my waist. If I wear a large sweatshirt and tuck the extra fabric well, it helps but there is still a bit of open room. I give 4 stars due to the affordability and the warmth -- however, a 5th star would be given if the waist had some kind of adjustable straps to tighten/loosen as necessary. I’m 5’6 and weigh about 290. Got a 4x and was really nervous about it because I’m on the bigger side but, to my relief, it fits perfect. Comfortable to move around in and bend down. It kept me warm today while working on stuff outside. Was only about 30 degrees out today but I only wore a tshirt and the basic thin leggings underneath. Judging by how warm it kept me, it will be good in the colder temps. Ready for snow blowing this year! Definitely follow the measurements that are listed. I was on the tail end of it for the 4x with my hips and it was fine. So if your measurements are within the size you want, you’ll be good to go! ... show more

I’m 5’4” and 105 lbs., with long legs and relatively short torso, small rear, and C or D cups. I purchased these bib snow pants in black and XS. They are perfect. I’m not using them for skiing or snowboarding. I have stage 4, inoperable cancer and I’m always absolutely freezing. Like bone cold. I’ve been wearing thermals under sweats under army pants. On top, thermal shirt under sweatshirt under jacket. These snow pants are perfect and so cozy comfy. I can still fit sweats underneath with room to spare. However, they still don’t look overly baggy or bulky. I do need to extend the shoulder straps all the way, but they are plenty long enough and I really like the way the waist sits. Most importantly, THEY KEEP ME NICE AND WARM!!! 💕 I cannot convey how important this is to me. They are very well-made. The material is nice and sturdy on the outside, and warm and comfy on the inside. For the price, they are a steal. Get ‘em if you’re anything like me. 🌺💕🌺💕🌺 ... show more

I like that the style was Bib overall, I have broad shoulders and smaller hips hard to size appropriately, but the style allowed me flexibility while not confining me with too tight shoulders. I bought it to wear when walking my dog during the winter months in Kentucky. worked perfectly I am 5 feet 5 inches tall and got the 29 inseams. I also loved the bright beautiful blue color.
