Description

Season after season, the 1450 Arctix Women's Insulated Bib Overalls serve as an outstanding value priced snow bib and a versatile cornerstone of the Arctix line. These pants feature a 100% Polyester Dobby shell with ThermaLock W/R + W/P 3000mm Coating, offering a maximum degree of durability and protection from the elements, while allowing a full range of motion. 85 grams ThermaTech Insulation offers warmth in a lightweight, low bulk garment, keeping you warm at temperatures from -20° to +35° depending on your level of activity. DWR finish (Durable Water Repellent) helps repel water from fabric surface. The adjustable comfort suspenders provide the perfect fit with elasticized side gussets for maximum motion. The boot zippers make them easy for on and off access along with boot gaiters with grippers to form a seamless integration with the boots to keep the warmth in, and the moisture out. These relaxed fit pants also include 600 Denier Ballistic reinforced ankle, scuff and hem guards to hold up against daily wear & tear, and conveniently has an O-ring for keys, gloves and/or lift tickets. The pants provide zippered hand warmer style pockets, zippered fly, and belt loops. They are water and wind resistant, and are conveniently machine washable. Sizing options include a Short 29" inseam (5'1" – 5'4" heights), Regular 31" inseam (5'5" – 5'8"), and Tall 33" inseam (5'9" – 6'1").

They look and fit nice. I won't know how warm and durable they are until winter comes. I wasn't sure what size to order, normally I wear a medium but the size chart for the hips was like 40 inches or something like that. When I got them I had plenty of room in the waist and so I decided to return them for a size small. I am glad I did as with the size small, I still have room in the waist and it is a better fit in my hips. I guess my recommendation is if you not "curvy" I would order what is closer to your hip size as the top adjusts and the waist has elastic to stretch. FYI, I have enough room yet in the small size where the elastic does not even need to stretch. Also, I would recommend having these shipped in Amazon packaging. I forgot to say that when I ordered the small and I was surprised that the bag from the manufacturer did not rip during shipping. it was pretty thin I thought. 5 stars for now, if anything changes I will update when I actually wear them. ... show more

She hasn’t worn them yet. We are getting into snowshoeing and she needed a pair to keep warm. The price was fantastic for something that may or may not get used, depending on how she takes to this new activity. The size chart vs her hip waist size was right on. They seem well made for this currently part time activity. If they turn out to be too warm as some have advised, we will purchase a pair of rain pants. But still think these insulated pair will be better for a beginner, where she likely will be standing more than walking in the cold. ... show more

Bought this for my Alaska trip. I super love how comfy they are and kept me warm. I’m 5’5 about 180lbs with a more fuller hip and thigh so bought the XL short and fit me perfectly. Used it in my glacier hike and was comfy to walk and was very light! Loved it would get all the colors if I could.

These fit great, very comfortable. Love them can’t wait to test them out in actual snow/wet weather. I ware a 16-18 in pants/bottoms and I order a 2x (20-22w I believe)…. There definitely not to tight but I’m not swimming in them either. I would suggest ordering 1 size up. Overall happy I got them.
